Only Time Will Tell
When I write a review, it is based on the reception of the product. I will try not to make that mistake again. What I've experienced with this purchase has given me insight. Over the course of time, it is clearly a lesson learned. A battery for a computer is not the same as a movie or a book. Books and movies are not judged by longevity. Over time, this product has proven to be a waste of money. I could have bought a battery for my laptop that was sixty dollars less, but I chose the one that was American made (very patriotic of me). Oh sure, it got my laptop up and running again, but as I soon found out, it does not work well as a stand-along product. As long as my charger is plugged in, there is no worries. When I tried to use my laptop as a mobile device, all bets are off. My laptop did not work well initially (booting up, opening programs, playing a simple game etc.) and the battery life was limited to minutes, not hours. After a while, I learned that trying to use my laptop without the charger would not work. Each time my laptop would lock up on me, and I had to force-shut down the computer and reboot it. If I did not have my charger with me, then all I had was a glorified door-stop. My laptop was useless. Of course I am kicking myself in the butt, because I submitted a review praising my purchase. So, with that much in mind, I will not make that mistake again. Before I give another review of a product, I will wait at least six months to see what time will tell.

Keep charging!! IT WORKS GREAT!!!
After reading the reviews I felt like I had a 50/50 shot at success. I saw reviews saying "this battery does not hold a charge, don't waste your money." I saw one review that said " the battery was fully charged after 5 min of charging and would not hold a charge"Now on to my battery. I installed it.. Plugged it in. And sure enough the green full charge light came on after 5 min. Ohhhhh great I got one of the bad ones. The pc fully discharged after only 15 min or so of being on. Now here is where other customers have given up, get mad, and write a bad review.I suggest reading batterycare.net and installing the application. Fully discharging your battery (going all the way to 0% and computer shutting off) IS VERY BAD!!! Let your battery drain to about 20% then fully charge it again. Keep doing this over and over. After several charges your batter will be ready to go. I get a solid 2 hours without getting running high demand applications. I hope this helps anyone who is having issues with this battery. I assure you it works very well.

Laptop/Notebook Battery for HP/Compaq nc6400
Since I only have had this battery just under a month, I can't speak to the longevity of the battery. I purchased the laptop used & the battery was completely dead, meaning it couldn't be charged. This is a 4400mahr Lithium Ion Battery. On a full charge with the notebook in "High Performance mode", meaning the Hard Drive DOESN'T spin down, Display DOESN'T dim down, CPU DOESN'T reduce clock speed & the Laptop DOESN'T go into Standby Mode due to inactivity. "High Performance mode" performs the same as if it were on AC power. With all that said, I can get 60min of operating on a full charge. I can get 90min of operating time in "Power Saver Mode". Meaning the opposite of "High Performance mode". This is pretty typical of a 4400mahr Lithium Ion Battery. So in that respect, this battery is a "good buy" given the price & I would purchase again. However, next time I will probably purchase the Extended Battery.

Replacement Laptop Battery for NC6400 Business Notebook.
This is a review for "NEW Laptop/Notebook Battery for HP/Compaq nc6400 nx6110 nx6120 nc6320 nx6310 nx6320 nx6325 nx6130 hstnn-db28" sold by SIB.I ordered the notebook battery as a replacement for a failed NC6400 battery. The replacement battery arrived quickly from CA to TX, beating the estimated ship time by three days. The battery itself is rated at 47KWh, vs the original battery rating of 55KWh. At full charge, Windows 7 64bit shows the battery having 2hrs worth of battery runtime, but real world usage (web browsing and chatting) showed runtime closer to 1.5 hours. Upon researching the part number on HP Quickspecs, I noticed that the 47KWh battery is listed as replacement equipment for the smaller HP business notebooks, although the battery is the same shape and physical dimensions as the failed one. Best of all, the replacement battery received is HP-branded and not a counterfeit or 3rd party unit (Sony-manufactured).

Gave My Old Laptop A Second Life!
I know it's just a laptop battery, but for the past 2 months, I have been unable to unplug my 5 year old laptop without it shutting off. I thought that perhaps the motherboard was going out again, despite being replaced about 2 years ago, but after searching through pages of spammed Google results, I finally found a simple answer to my prayers that I had not even once considered; replacing the battery. I was reluctant to purchase the battery because it wasn't HP, and I've never bought a replacement part for a my laptop that wasn't HP brand. But to my delightful surprise, I am now happy to say that I am writing this review cordless. Thanks!

Less than expected
I ned this product because my laptop fell off my lap and broke the connection that recharged its battery. I bought the battery to get my data off the laptop. I bought the express air 1-3 days. It took all three days to arrive. It arrived only halfcharged limiting what I could do with the battery. I got my data but still wished to check some passwords in the computer to connect myself to various internet locations. I didn't have time to do that when I got recoverd my data, but I made sure there was still about an hour of charge left on the battery. I even took the battery out of the computer to keep it from discharging into the old computer to keep its clocks running. But when I reinstalled the batter 10-14 days later the batter had no charge on it. AAAaarrrrrrH!
