American Audio foldable pro dj headphones

Replaced a similar pair from American Audio. I Dj weddings and community events and refuse to pay $100's of dollars for a name. These work great for what I need them to do... Arrived in a timely fashion, sound is good, build is good, overall quality & price is good. Would purchase again if necessary...

A friend of mine turned me onto these, great sound and comfortable although I only pay'd $50 for them I can't really complain they are wonderful... only thing I noticed that this would probably be with most headphones, my ears got sweaty after an hour of straight use.5/5 for $50 can't beat it at that price.(Edit:8-13-14) I have now been DJing with these for over a year and I can't complain for the 50$ I spent on them.they are a good pair for beginners, although they are kinda heavy and plastic frame cracks easily if you drop or are not careful with them in your bag.

I had this headphone for 1.5 years, and i used for DJ purpose and the sound wasnt the best. Then the cable broke from inside and i kept in the bag.I wouldnt buy this again. need reliable headphones

This is my 2nd pair of these headphones and honestly if I would’ve slammed the flight case lid down on the first pair, I would’ve never had to purchase the 2nd. I enjoyed the 1st pair so much I went back for what I was familiar with. Sounds great and comfortable.

Very nice listening experience for the money,but I found these to be a little uncomfortable for extended listening time,contrary to the other reviewer's findings. I also noticed that the bass reproduction was severely lacking. There is absolutely 'No Way' that these headphones can be classified as professional in any sense other than the name.

The American Audio Professional Headphones work very wonderfully! My 76 year old Grandmother can hear perfectly to watch her shows on my laptop when she comes to visit and she wears these! I travel in an 18 wheeler and I can finally hear whatever movie I am watching over the roar of the engine! I tired many other ones and was not pleased but with these ones I can say I might cry if I lost them! I love that they are foldable and fit nicely into my laptop bag. The sound quality is awesome. I highly recommend these!

Got this for amateur DJing (combined with Denon CDJs and Stanton mixer), and I am very pleased. Have owned them for about a year now, and they still behave like the day I got them. Sounds is nice and crisp, and the bass is thunderous. It is not a studio-quality headphone, but then again, it is not in that price range either. They do have a copper plug like the more high-end stuff, and for DJing, they are perfect. Also check out some of the professional reviews on this model floating around on the web. They offer a lot of bang (pun intended) for your buck!edit: Have now had these for over a year, using them lightly. The sound quality is still nice. On the top of the headband, where the silver meets the black, the silver is starting to crack. I would predict this to be the weak point of these headphones, i.e., that headband will snap at some point.
