It feels good in the hand, has great transmit and receive sound quality and the little extra power in the 7W helps me hit repeaters I couldn't get to before. Check the manual or online for how to enable the EH power (extra high power). It's a little hidden but there. A few guys in my radio club have them and like them. Decent stock antenna and good battery life too.
