Perfect piece of Gear for the 2017 Triumph Explorer XCA
Perfect piece of Gear for the 2017 Triumph Explorer XCA. Looks nicer than the one Triumph sells. Goes better with and matches the bike great. It is not loose and snaps into place. The light is a great touch for night riding. I actually like this one better than what Triumph sells. This one is oval and matches the lines of bike and looks like it was meant for the XCA. Will be a good solid choice for all Tiger Explorer models. Not a lot of experience using it yet as i just got it but so far i am glad i got this one.

Qualtiy Unit for BMW Hella DIN plug
This is a well made dual port USB adapter plug, which fits tightly/snug into my Hella DIN plugs on my BMW R1200RT at both locations on the dash and below the rear passenger seat. Once the bike's key position is turned on or on accessory the position it lights up to allow you to know its on and operating. Does not draw power when the key is the off position. It does come with a weather proof cap when your not using a USB port, otherwise the cap dangles and leaves the other port exposed if not in use. I could see using this at both positions if my passenger needs to charge her phone or other devices. I believe I will use this to power my GPS and possibly a phone once I setup mounts for those devices.

Well it's working good to power my iPhone as I ride around on my Motorcycle with the Navigation app running. Fully charging my phone and keeping it charged. I use this with a 12 inch lightning cable and it's working out great. Snaps right into my aftermarket power port and stays put and keeps my phone charged up. What more can you ask? I have a spare port for whatever else in the future. Maybe a camera?

Very compact, charges my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone
Although some reviewers of this device said it wouldn't charge a Samsung Galaxy phone, I thought I'd take a chance as this is such a neat solution: compact and nice looking. When plugged in to the DIN port of my 2005 BMW R1200RT, it fits snugly. I can't imagine this ever falling out, but time will tell. The plastic translucent lens around the USB ports lights up a pretty blue when the ignition key is turned to "on". This light is barely noticeable during the day, but might be an annoyance at night. I haven't used it at night yet. I plugged in a Sena Bluetooth headset and my Galaxy S4 phone and both began charging. I checked back after 10 minutes or so and the phone had charged several percentage points. Either Samsung did something with their software lately, or the manufacturer of the Hella DIN Plug did something on their end. It does charge a Galaxy mobile phone. It charges mine anyway. It's perfect for my intended purposes. If I discover anything of interest after using it for some hours, I'll update this review. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Good altenrative for a Hella plug with a tail
I was about 400 miles into a 1500 mile ride when a Hella plug decided to jump off the bike, which made for along ride with limited electronics. I purchased this since it did not have the lead to catch wind, which caused the previous one to pulled out. So far it appears to fit VERY snugly in the socket and, if it maintains the tight fit, I cannot image it will ever fall out. My concern was that it would not fit into the stock Hella sockets the way the tupperware surrounds them on the '05-'13 R1200RTs. There is NO problem plugging into the front or rear socket. Also the contact in the socket maintains a more consist electrical connection that the previous which tended to lose contact after a coupe of hours on the road.

Fell out and destroyed in one day.
Literally fell out of the charge port while I was riding and blew apart when it hit the ground at 30mph.Honestly I wanna give it one star, but it is an attractive charger. And it worked....But, I would only use this in an interior charge port if your bike has one, like the one under the ducati Multistrada's seat. Pretty disappointing that this thing fell out of the socket, and yes I made sure it was snug. I'm a regular rider of my adventure bike and I'm extra paranoid on strapping and securing everything on my bike.

Very Handy!
If you ride a European bike and have that funny small diameter accessory outlet your going to need this. With a usb outlet it's designed to charge small devices, like your phone. So one day when your out somewhere on your bike and you stop somewhere for a beer and play candy crush too long and run your battery down, you'll have a way to power it back up. But keep in mind that most if not all accessory ports are "off" until you turn your ignition switch to acc. or run. And rout the wire so it doesn't interfere or lay on a hot cylinder. Excellent device, I carry mine always in my tank bag on my BMW R9T.
