Very happy that I was able to buy "The Score" album by hip-hop/R&B super group The Fugees on Amazon, Featuring Hip Hop Greats Wyclef Jean, Pras, And of course the main star of the album in my opinion Lauryn Hill or Ms. Lauryn Hill as she is known by now?, Who would go on to be a Superstar in her own right for a short time with her one and only solo album "The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill" (1998), Which sold millions of albums and would sweep the Grammys, This album was a great preview of what was to come for Lauryn Hills career, My favorite songs on "The Score" includes the hits "Ready or Not", "No Woman, No Cry" ( A Bob Marley cover), Fu-Gee-La, And the Roberta Flack cover "Killing me softly", A true Rap classic!, One of the best Hip-hop albums of all time and also the Fugees best selling album.

this is a very hard vinyl record to find.. I was a bit nervous about it bc of the reviews but it ended up being PERFECT with no issues. LOVE IT

The best Album from the fugees , a real classic one , tracks like ready or not , uh la la la , and killing me softly , man you're not ready for this classic.

The Fugees are one of Hip Hop's gems in the entire genre. No other group was as spiritually uplifting, and no other group before or after the era of the Fugees was creating this kind of blend of funk, reggae, R&B and hip hop all at once. All three members with the de facto Wyclef Jean, Pras and of course the impeccable Lauryn Hill have incredible chemistry together that is undeniably captivating. As much as I give praise to the lyricism of Wyclef and Pras, the star of the album is without a doubt Lauryn Hill, with her cunning lyrical ability filled with swagger, tenacity and demand for attention; not to mention her distinct soulful singing. With this album, we see the upcoming of a star that would be Lauryn Hill, with female emcees on the decline since the late 80's and early 90's along with MC Lyte and Queen Latifah, I would consider Lauryn Hill the top Female MC of all time with incredible talent. This album was created as a listenable movie filled with skits that tie the entire album together. The overall sound of the album is diverse but has an undertone of a hardcore New York backdrop that is similar to many of the mafioso-themed Hip Hop albums that were released during the times such as Biggie's "Ready to Die" or Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...". The album as a whole is filled with social commentary of the human conscious, going through life with contemplations of their surroundings and finding one self. My personal favorites would have to be "Ready or Not", "The Mask", "Fu-gee-la" and "Killing Me Softly". The production is rich of colorful instrumentations mixed with 90's boom bap, jazzy samples, funk and reggae. This is one of Hip Hop's best that any music fan should own.

One of my favorite albums but this vinyl copy I received is very crackly despite being apparently new. I’ve spend quite a bit of effort trying to brush away dust and remove static, but I just can’t get this copy to sound sufficiently clear. It looks clean but it’s still one of the most crackly albums I own.

Best if you know anything about music in the 90s. Ready or Not? Purchase killing hm softly without disappoint and love it.

Before I bought this album I only knew the Fugees hits. I was blown away by the album. The quality of the songwriting and production is among the best I have ever heard in hip hop/rnb. The hits are actually the least interesting tracks. Full of originality, musical creativity at it's finest. A work of art.

Just a brilliant, timeless record. Sounds brilliant on vinyl, and this 180g edition is flawless. Sounds just as fresh as it did a quarter of a century ago!

Awesome album but the vinyl is the thinnest I've ever seen. It's warped and the stickers over the middle are misaligned. If I'd got this for $5 at a market I'd have been convinced it was an illegal copy.

Un buen álbum de hip hop, me gusta ponerlo en el coche aunque no sea mi género favorito. Por supuesto "Killing Me Softly" es totalmente la reina del álbum, y hace que las demás canciones suenen un poco peor de lo que son, a excepción de "Ready or Not", que podría ser mi favorita. La versión de "No Woman, No Cry" está bien, el resto está muy bien. Y Lauryn Hill es un encanto. Por lo demás, decir que el envío sin duda ha sido espectacular por parte de Amazon y el CD llegó rápido y en perfecto estado.

Suona bene, i due dischi sono protetti da busta antistatica. Nessun fruscio o rumore di fondo buona edizione. Il contenuto non è in discussione
