Simple easy fix
Had a drip in my Aqua Pure AP801 & figured the O-ring gave out after years of dutiful service. Needed a replacement fast & wanted something that was reliable. The reviews looked good & this O-ring did the trick. Came in a pack of 3, priced competitively, shipped fast & fit snuggly. When compared to the O-ring, I was replacing, it did show the old one had worn out and stretched. Put food grease on the new ring to ensure less friction & a tight seal. All good. 👍🏻

Fits Aqua-Pure AP801
Seen some 1 star reviews saying these don't fit the AP801 model. Mine arrived today, installed in 10 minutes and it fits just fine, no leaks. Manual says just to wet the O-ring with water before installing, but get some silicone plumber's grease to make your life easier.

Not all 41/2” filters take same “O” ring , be sure this fits your brand
Always nice to a extra “O” Ring since most filters don’t come with “O” rings

I bought a 1.5 hp Cliensy swimming pool pump a few years ago that has since been discontinued to clean my small above ground vinyl pool. The pump wouldnt prime despite my best efforts. After much anguish I found that the O-ring on the pump lid was badly cracked. I foolishly tried another replacement first, to no avail. Then, just as I thought all was lost, Amazon summoned Captain Oring to my suggested list. I anxiously tried it out, not knowing if the Cap would.be tough enough, but ot said, "I can do this all day" and went to work. No more priming issues or leaks! Thanks Captain! You the real hero!

BUYER BEWARE - THESE ARE NOT THE FLAT GASKET TYPE FOR OLDER AP801 SYSTEMS!
I have an older (nearly 30-years old) AP801 water filtration system and ordered these gaskets. Unfortunately, after I had already removed the old filter and was getting ready to install the new gasket, did I notice it was too big in diameter to use. Fortunately, I didn't toss the old gasket, so I cleaned it up really well and used plumber's silicone grease before re-installing. After further research, learned that the correct P/N for the older AP801's is 68898-31, UPC 604015686558.However, these 68898-32's are very well made and I would not hesitate to but them if they were the right ones for my system.
