Bois Eau de Toilette Spray, Real Patchouly, 3.4 Ounce

Although the Bois 1920 Real Patchouly is labeled as a men's cologne, it should be labeled as"UNISEX" cologne, as it smells so clean and pretty, that women can also wear this fragrance, without anyone being the wiser. I purchased 2 bottles of this fragrance, one for my husband, and one for me. I have received many compliments from family, when I wear this scent, but I have not told them that it is sold as a man fragrance. The downside of this fragrance is that it can be costly....between $140.00- $180.00 for a 3.4oz bottle, but trust me, this fragrance is well worth the price. Another good this about Bois products, is they list the ingredients in the scents, so that you might be able to chose the scent that's right for your body temperature. Bois also has other fragrances (equally priced), that I will be trying in the future.

Reminds me of Drakkar Noir not in a good way, it is very strong I had people commenting on the scent hours after putting it on sparingly, I was hoping for a Patchouli spice scent but there isn't any spice and it is sweet very sweet. It was delivered promptly and well packaged, the ordering experience was great.

More of an amber with the support of patchouli and vanilla - somewhat reminiscent of Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan with a similar herbal twist with celery, caraway and thyme. It also has a good dose of tobacco as well - which gives it a much richer and masculine lean. If you're looking for a "dirty" patchouli, it's not here - this one is more refined and wine-like in its delivery - very smooth and suave. Overall, I really like this and have purchased backup bottles in case anything happens with its production or is reformulated - it's that good IMO!
