Got recommended one of these by Virgin Media tech as have black spots in our house with wifi (not even a big old grand house! 3 bed semi!). Honestly such a game changer! We have two upstairs as both myself and the husband WFH some days - no issues and stable connection with multiple devices connected and streaming. Easy enough to set up & link via the app and get above max speeds. Coverage is fab, there is definitely something in our walls affecting WiFi signals but as soon as in range its top speed. Husband is constantly on Internet gaming - no lagging, it's like he's on a wired connection. Like any WiFi keep an eye on your WiFi channels cause if a neighbour changes thiers it could interfere with yours however since having this set up it's happened twice in 4 years compared when just having the VM hub on WiFi and would be a weekly issue. Can't recommend enough!

Well made item, but the set-up is tricky. Minimal printed info in the box & user guide & further help is accessed from QR codes. I was really struggling to set-up, so eventually gave up & went for contact support. This was an 0345 number; I made contact after a couple of minutes & spoke with Collin Zhang. He was really excellent, very patient & understandable. He walked me through the complete set-up process & even the second remote wifi unit which is installed further away in the house. So far, the system appears to be working well improving my home wifi coverage

Really good, relatively easy to connect. A little bit tricky tonstart with. I set up in AP mode. I recommend watching the youtube video, instruction manual is useless and the app is not enough on its own. Easy 5 out of 5 stars even tho slightly slow overall speed based on my broadband fibre package capability but it is extremely effective and provides the coverage stipulated. No more low wifi signal nightmares. In fact, it boosts my router so much that I can use that wifi feom the ground floor! Excellent build quality. Zero complaints. At £80 its very expensive but I guess that's the price ya gotta pay for decent mesh.

Firstly this came so quickly! I know I have prime but I ordered at 10am and it had arrived before 3pm same day!!! So so so easy to set up, I’m in a bungalow and it’s a long house so from the main router to my bedroom I’m in a complete dead zone. The previous boosters I had were doing nothing! Plugged two deco towers in to exactly the same spots and I have gone from zero signal in my room to full! I can watch tv and be on my phone at the same time which feels like a novelty! Cannot fault how easy and straightforward the installation is. In a household of 3 adults we have a lot of devices connected to wifi and nothing feels slow, everything is connected it’s great! Definitely worth the price, they also aren’t an eyesore. I would 100% recommend these!

It's completely sorted my dead spot in the study and spare room. They're on the far side of the house and I now get c 100mbs connection v constant drop outs, single figure set best and burning through my phone data as I had to hotspot for work. If you're umming and aahing as I was, go for these (I went for a pair and have quite a big house). Does the job, no idea how much better WiFi 6/7 would be but am happy with these. This is tricky to set up and takes some time, patience and trial and error. I don't think the instructions are great in the box/app. A bit of googling found me the right steps to follow (you also need to check your broadband provider specific steps). I recommend you set up the deco network and use the exact same SSID and WiFi password as your existing connection. When set up (on Vodafone at least), delete the original WiFi connection on your phone to avoid confusion/drop outs and disable WiFi on your router. Log back in advertise your devices (bit of a pain but worth it).

I bought 3 of these a few years back after my boss reccomended them. Wow what a great bit of advice that was! We were with Virgin Media at the time and we had just moved house. The Internet was awful. Intermittent and some of our devices just wouldn't connect. We got an engineer out who actually said we had too many devices and it can't cope! I did some research and sure enough the broadband providers supply sub standard routers that cannot handle many devices. Queue this Mesh solution! You turn your providers box into a modem and then plug this gadget into it. It's takes over and organises your wi-fi. Previous black spots in the house and garden are now serviced. All our devices connect and on the whole no issues (other than the odd one where you just reset once in a blue moon) The Deco app is good, you can see all the devices and what they are drawing from your Internet. You can lock it with a password and it has protection built in also. You can set up connection profiles for your kids. When mine were a bit younger and still at school I had a cut off at night so they had to go to sleep. You can see thier usage, you get a monthly report on how long they've been on the Internet and what sites they use the most. You have a pause button so you can instantly disconnect your child! There are age settings so it will block content that is not age appropriate. There are optimisation programs for getting the best out of your Internet. There is a camera detector so you can see if someone is spying on you. The list goes on. This particular model is probably a little outdated now. It may not support the higher broadband speeds , check the specs. However for the price it is well worth it. I have used with Virgin and Sky with no issues.

I have a pretty good router, but the WiFi downstairs has always been terrible. To the point where I couldn’t even reliably browse the internet on the toilet, which felt like a serious quality of life issue. This has made things WAY better already. Only installed it last night, so still early days, but coverage downstairs is noticeably improved and everything feels a lot more stable. In an old house with thick walls, that’s a big win. I might even need to add a third unit to fully sort it, but so far I’m impressed. Bit on the pricier side, but if you’ve got dead spots in an older house, it seems to genuinely help.
