I am a large man very pale skin who does not like to take his shirt off to go swimming. I normally like to wear 3XL due to it being long but I can get away with size 2XL. I bought these in size 2XL and they fit extremely well. I'm 6-foot 285 lb and they fit perfectly with enough length that when you bend over nothing is being exposed. They're well-ventilated that you feel nice and cool still wow out in the sun. If I would have bought 3XL they would have probably fit more like a 4XL. So these are a little bit on the bigger side which I prefer but not extremely too big. I highly recommend them the color and the stitching has held up very well after being washed numerous times. I wore it swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving in a 9- day trip to Hawaii and it protected me from the intense sun, was comfortable, and held up great. It had a comfortable but not too loose fit. It's perfect if you don't want a tight form fitting swimming shirt but it doesn't have so much material that it rides up.
