Just this morning I was riding in to work and I'm fairly confident that the driver leaving a parking lot that stopped when she saw me, saw the helmet cover first.

My helmet comes down pretty low in the back so I was concerned about this fitting but it's great. Very visible, feels durable. Packs down small.

I bought this helmet cover for two reasons, the first one was to keep the cool air from entering my helmet vents so my beanie could do its job of keeping my head warm; second one was to keep rain from reaching my head; for both of those reasons that I bought the cover for the cover worked 100%, and the price was very good. As a side benefit the helmet cover came with in a neon green color which stands out better in gloomy days, plus they put some reflective markings to help it stand out a bit at night, all of which adds to visibility necessary for riding a bike. It fit my Specialized Echelon II helmet perfectly due to its stretch band feature that should adjust to any helme except may a helmet with a visor, my helmet has a visor but I removed it to put the cover on which I don't need the visor for winter use anyways. Overall a great deal for a very good cover.

Just biking with this cover is not adequate for Seattle, but combining this with a helmet liner is making me really happy biking! The cover has remained waterproof after a couple months of use at this point- so I claim that it was a good purchase. Also- I have a helmet light that fits under this and it is still quite bright through the cover. I really recommend picking up one of these to add to the bike in the rain collection of gear. The bus driver complimented me on how visible I was- but be aware that there are few limits to car driver stupidity... and be cautious out there!

Works GREAT, pulled on over my helmet tight but it has some stretch so even if you think it won't work just warm it up a little with a blow-drier and it will stretch right over. It provides wind and rain protection while significantly improving your visibility. As the days get shorter more and more of my commute is at dusk, or in the dark. Every bit of reflection and bright color helps keep me safe!

I use the same bike helmet all year. This is light enough that my rear helmet light can still be seen through it, but this is 100% waterproof and windproof! It is very bright and reflective. I lost one (blew off my helmet in 30 mph winds--my fault because I didn't have it in place correctly and I knew this--I was in a hurry because I got caught in a thunderstorm). I bought a second one because I didn't want to be without it and the next day on the way to work there it was lighting up on the side of the road when my bike headlight hit it! I have two now. It fits with elastic and stays in place if you make sure the elastic is under all edges of your helmet.

Very light weight but moisture proof cover, big enough to fit my XL helmet, with the visor in place. Bright color and reflective patches add safety element. A very good product at a very good price.
