American Easel 434105 Blockprinting Wood Panels, 6 x 8 Inches, Pack of 12

I use these for small acrylic paintings. I just put a few coats of gesso on and I’m ready to go. At the small beach place where my artwork is displayed this is the size that sells. To keep my costs down I don’t frame the paintings but just paint the sides and can easily nail a small sawtooth hanger on the back. I just had to reorder so I could paint more to take the place of those sold!

These aren't good for laser cutting, but engrave fine. I read them five stars because I thought the quality was good and to give it a lesser rating for something they aren't marketed for would not be right.

These are now block printing panels. These are just pieces of 1/8 underlayment plywood cut into squares. To add insult to injury they were cut with a full blade so there is lots of tear out / chipping and the panels were not even sanded smooth.

I used the 6 x 8 wood panels I got for crafting. They were perfect for what I was doing. Flat, straight panels that required little sanding.

I am a professional artist and like the previous reviewer love these for small acrylic paintings. These are a tad thicker than uncradled birch panels I have used in the past, which means these don’t warp. 3-4 layers of gesso and a bit of sanding and these are a great little painting surfaces for a great little price.

Perfect! I needed it to make small shelf corrections. Very good product for hobbies as well.

These are not good for block printing. I have great woodcut tools that I sharpen regularly, but these splinter really bad. You don't get consistently clean cuts. The grain is too strong. I do not recommend these at all.

excellent for DIY projects. wood is strong/no warping.
