So I bought this on a whim. I was tired of the shakers. It seems like every shaker I buy just doesn't seal well either immediately or over a short period of time. I always seem to find out in a white shirt and its a red amino supplement I'm shaking. To be honest i gave up on shakers and have been using an emulsifier with either a whisk or other attachment. I got this on a whim of "its less than $30 and dudes appear to not be overly hyped." I'm gonna change that with this review. Dude, I don't even use the lid. (No shaker fails at the wrong time, check). I use it each morning and after each workout for recovery. The lid literally sits next to the Ikea mat i dry this on everyday. I push the button after adding water just under the 14oz mark. I add my Orgain (2 scoops) and Amino energy (2 scoops). Usually the vortex stops after the protein powder. And that is because I'm slow or distracted for a second. phone, vitamins, blah. Anyway.. I push it again to add the amino mix. It blends up perfect (NO RANDOM CHUNKS, CHECK). It blends so well that it froths up one flavor of the protein powder, i don't mind. I just add another 12oz of water when finished and swirl again. Gone. I've had this all December 2023, it's the 26th. I've charged it when i first got it. Everyday, triple spin on one use, and twice a day three/four times a week. So i hit that button 30+ times a week. 4 weeks deep and on the same charge. Yeah, how about that. Now cleaning. I hand wash it with just water after each use and then a dawn power spray stuff every other day. It's clean. It takes about a minute to rinse it. This isn't complicated or a pain. I literally just wash it while washing my hands. Needless to say my shaker things are all in the recycling bin. Never again. I can trust this thing. The cool colors would be nice or some RGB lights to up the aesthetics or something. But i have the plain old lowest priced, entry level black one. Priorities first and i was skeptical. It works. Buy it. And buy yourself the cool colors and jazzed up version. Do as instructed and it just makes life easier. ****2 Month Update**** Still going strong. I found it does slow down mixing with other, thicker, protein powders (eg Equate Organic Protein from Walmart). But it still stirs it up. Battery life is still pleasantly good maybe not as lasting as before. But I'll also add that others in the house have been using it. Still just as stoked about it as when i first got it. I want another one but don't need one. I can say that others in the house may need to get their own.

This review is long overdue as I've had these products for a good 6 months now. First off, don't put the rechargeable base in the fridge/freezer and screw it up like I did. However, since that wasn't initially listed technically, the VOLTRX team sent me a replacement with free expedited shipping of any model of my choosing. Especially for Amazon lately, that's pretty great customer service. Then I bought a second one which (My fault!) I chipped at the bottom because I am reckless with these things, and it doesn't stay locked in now. Still spins, but I gotta hold it while I'm using it. So now I am buying 2 more because I am OCD and want different colors for smoothie/juices, coffee, or other. This is the best mixer/shaker I have tried out of almost a dozen over the past several years. People need to understand this is NOT a Blender, it is a shaker. If you want a hand-held *blender* then go pay $50-100 more for a Ninja or something that has sharp blades. That being said, this mixes protein drinks, smoothies, coffee, even yogurt/ice cream when it's softer. It's powerful, charges fast, lasts a while, it's easy to clean, and a great product overall. My only 'gripe' would be that there are seemingly two models that only vary by the size of the twist-lock on the bottom, and you'll get one or the other. Premium or VortexBoost, but not a huge deal if you care for your items properly (I do not, that is on me...) Happy to get a couple more and I am happy to see out of the slew of knockoff & spam companies from China that overwhelm Amazon, there are still good companies out there. AMAZON TIP: Make sure you're buying from Amazon.com or 'VOLTRX Direct' from Hong Kong specifically, that's their official legit company.

I was tired of shaking a bottle with a loud metal ball in it that wakes the whole house every time and still leaved chunks of powder, so these bottles seemed like the perfect solution. And largely, they are. Easier to clean, smoother mix, and generally quieter. However, the battery life they advertise is a flat out lie. This runs for 8 -10 cycles before the battery flashes low. They advertise something like 30 days of use on one charge. Maybe if you use it once a week, but that's not realistic for most people using this for daily protein shakes. Make the base a half inch thicker to give us more battery and add a couple bucks to the price and problem solved. The actual mixer motor could be stronger, too. It feels like they cheaped out on the strength of the mixing motor itself to just BARELY have the strength to mix a scoop of protien shake powder with milk and didn't give you a single ounce of more power than was absolutely necessary to technically mix it up. To be fair, I drink double strength protien shakes (two scoops) so that's my use case, but still, make a "Voltrx Pro" model or something with more mixing power and more battery life, charge 25% to 50% more and I'd buy the heck out of that. They cut corners to get this at the price point they wanted and you can tell. That said, it's still a four star product as is and fixes the issues I had with the famous Blender Bottles which I assume are their prime competitors.

These bottles are awesome. I drink a few different powders each day and this makes it really easy to blend and mix all of those powders. There's nothing worse than when you are drinking a powder and get hit with a unmixed clump. These have great durability and are leakproof as long as you keep that rubber ring in the lid and on the bottom mixer in good shape. Also the company that makes them has great customer service. I had an issue with 2 of these over the last few years and they replaced them free of charge. Highly recommended this brand!

I have purchased this item twice. One for me last year and another one recently for my boyfriend. Mine from a little over a year ago suddenly wouldn't lock on to the base. My boyfriend got it to lock but now I can't unattach it anymore. It makes it harder to wash since the base is on the cup permanently. A few days after this, the one I bought for my boyfriend, the lock tabs broke off. His was only a month old. So I contacted the seller and told them about our 2 cups. I didn't even know that there was a one year warranty on these cups. I was only asking about my boyfriend's cup but customer service had a quick response and immediately, within a day, sent out replacement cups. They even gave me an option to try their other cups. We opted for the Gallium cups, just to try something new. Our old cups still work. It's just the locking functions are the issues.

This fine-looking motorized shaker bottle stopped working and recharging after only a few weeks on the job. Fortunately, the motor part is separable and so I simply unscrewed the bottom and continue to use the bottle while physically shaking it myself. No problem, but I did pay for a motorized bottle.

UPDATE: OK, so the company reached out to me and reported that their response to me was delayed due to a fault in their system on their end. The person I worked with was more than fair in their solution, and ultimately replaced the original cup I had which was leaking. So I have raised the review from 3 stars to 5 because of the following -Once the company reached out, their customer service was excellent and they got a replacement product out QUICK. -The replacement product worked as expected (ie, doesn't leak.) -The mixing really does work super well WHEN MIXING PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS. I'll point out that the difference between "mason jar" quality mixing and "it really doesn't need a mixing ball because there's no clumps left" is whether you are adding water and then protein powder (which I was already doing), and holding the cup vertically when mixing (which I was not previously doing). -All of the positive things from the review below remain, including being super easy to clean, nice wide mouth to pour powder in, feels well made, etc etc etc. All in all, this is my first mixer cup (so you can take that into context as well), but I am glad that I purchased this as it totally satisfied my desire to have something simple/easy to clean, quiet, and effective for mixing protein powder. Original review below with updated edits in brackets: As a bit of context for this review, this is my first shaker bottle. I exercise from home, so I don't need to travel with it, and I also exercise before anybody else is awake in the house, and didn't want something noisy. Previously, I was using a mason jar w/o a mixer to mix a whey blend protein powder. I don't have a ton of experience with protein powders at this point, but do know that this tends to clump more than some others I've tried. I wanted to try a mixer bottle that had a wider mouth, but didn't want to mess with a widget inside that needed to be cleaned. I'm lazy like that. So as I provide a narrative summary for this review I will be outlining my thoughts on the "about this item" bullet points for this item, and I am generally going to be comparing this to a standard, run of the mill mason jar. In reverse order: Leak proof guarantee. [the company eventually reached out and send a proper product that doesn't leak, so the remainder of this becomes for history only] This seems to be faulty on two notes. First, yes, it does leak (or at least mine does). That's the first thing I noticed about this product, and I initially thought I was missing a gasket, but I see now that Helimix claims that a gasket is not needed. Well, I can't say that to be true based on the product I was sent. I did reach out to the company via the channels suggested, and haven't heard back (it's been almost a week) [it ultimately took 8 days for them to reach out to me, but they stated they didn't get the original message]. I realize this can take time, but Amazon has already sent a followup email asking whether my problem has been resolved, and as I haven't heard from Helimix, it hasn't. So I wouldn't say it's leak free, and I wouldn't say that they are making sure that they are resolving issues (or at least if they will, they haven't yet). At this point I'm just trying to tighten it as much as I can (much more than I would expect that I'd need to) and sort of hoping for the best. This does help, though it makes me wonder whether there will be longevity of the lid. I will say that the amount of tightening necessary to reduce leaking makes it hard to unscrew, as the cap doesn't have any traction on the outside for grip. In fairness, after about a month of frequent use, the mason jar might have leaked twice. But so far, it seems that the mason jar edges out the helimix for this. Durable and easy to clean. I would say this is true. The product seems sturdy throughout, and while I haven't stress tested it in any meaningful way (aside from VERY firm tightening/untightening), it seems like it won't be falling apart any time soon. It does seem easy to clean as well. I don't travel with this cup, so I tend to rinse it right away and I haven't noticed any areas where powder tends to clump that I can't get to when it comes to cleaning (more to come on that). Before ordering I had some concerns that the powder would get caught in the lid, however the inside of the lid is domed and there's nowhere for the powder to get caught there, and the mouthpiece is large enough to clean inside so there's no issues there. I like the very wide mouth, as I can fit my hand to the bottom with a washcloth. If the mason jar I have were wide mouthed, I think it would potentially be a draw for various reasons, but I like how the helimix is big where it needs to be to make cleaning easy vs the "standard mouth" mason that I can't fit my hand into. Odor Resistant. I can't speak to this. As stated, I wash (or at least rinse) this immediately after use, so I don't really give it a chance to sit and absorb. It doesn't smell yet, but it's only been about a week. The mason jar didn't smell either. So a tie I guess. Superior Supplement Mixing. [having a product that seals correctly AND me mixing correctly, ie vertically, made all the difference... and yes, it mixes beautifully! The design of this cup really is clever and effective!] OK, this is a tricky area to speak on. In the packaging itself there aren't any instructions for use, though one wouldn't expect it needs to be any more complicated than "throw in the stuff, close and shake." I do know from limited experience that it's best to add the water THEN the powder, so I've been doing that. Now somewhere online it also suggests to shake the cup VERTICALLY, as this allows the shape of the cup do whatever the shape of the cup is supposed to do. Unfortunately, I haven't yet tested it in that way, as I have some real concerns about where the contents of the cup will end up if I do that. Instead, I've been shaking it downward into the sink, so at least I'm controlling where leaks go. So if I'm not taking advantage of the "technology" of the cup by shaking it correctly, it's a bit hard to tell whether I can fairly assess it's ability to mix. If shaking it vertically was also super important, I kind of wish that bit of information was clearly communicated inside or on the packaging rather than only somewhere online. That said, my inclination is to say that it "probably" does a better job than the mason jar... maybe? In both cases, it involves some shaking, some looking into the cup/jar to see whether I can see chunks, some more shaking, and so forth. In the end, some days there's a chunk left over, and some days there aren't. Sometimes there's a little unmixed powder hiding in the mouthpiece, and sometimes it comes out totally clean. I haven't really figured out the magic of consistent and completely blended results yet. I feel like it maybe takes less shakes with the Helimix, but I have to say that my experience of shaking them are different as I sort of walk around and shake the mason jar absentmindedly, and I shake the helimix rather purposefully into the sink as I watch for leaking. Maybe a slight edge to the helimix, but if I'm shaking it "wrong" due to shaking it upside down into the sink, then maybe it's not a fair comparison. No shaking accessories needed. [True! When tested with a whey protein isolate, as well as a whey protein isolate blend, no blender ball or "excessive shaking" is required to get a completely mixed shake.] As a stickler for the word "need," I'd argue this is true. It isn't NECESSARY, and wasn't in the mason jar either. They both mix the contents without a widget. If it's not mixed, just keep shaking. Not much to say here, as neither thing needs one, or at least they both function about the same without one. So pros and cons... [With a proper/non-leaking cup, I have to say that for me it's all pros! Absolutely an upgrade from a mason jar. So if it leaks, contact the company, and when you shake it, make sure it's vertically as this totally matters!] The Helimix seems well made, mixes well enough I guess (though my ability to use the product as they recommend it is hindered by the leaking), I love the wide mouth both for pouring mix in and access for cleaning, and it IS easy to clean (which was one of my main concerns before purchase). That said, the fact that it leaks is disappointing, especially since it's guaranteed not to, and more so when coupled with lack of outreach from the company to address my concerns after I've inquired for help with this issue. I'm hopeful that the company will reach out at some point and either tell me what I'm doing wrong (do there need to be tips/tricks for screwing a cap on?), or that I have a faulty product. If nobody outreaches however, I may end up trying to return/refund this and just buy a wide mouth mason jar.

Wenn man sich Proteinschecks machen möchte, ist das genau das richtige. Wir haben ihn schon eine Weile, er funktioniert einwandfrei, keine Klumpen und lässt sich gut reinigen. Wirklich spitze, kann man nur Empfehlen.

Heel handig dat de onderkant loskomt en goede indicatoren met licht. Batterij gaat lang mee, shaker is vrij krachtig (beetje dreft en hij maakt zichzelf schoon) en als je hem wast kan je de elektrische gedeelte er af halen. Enige minpunt vind ik dat er geen dop voor de usb c poort is. Als je perongeluk toch wel dat hele ding onder de kraan doet kan er potentieel een kortsluiting komen.
