It's a nice depths to it for a bathtub for a small child or I would say it's too deep for a baby or anybody younger than two but I would say ages two to four maybe might work in it depends how tall your 4-year-old is and also depends on what your intentions are on it for it works perfect for us for a little tubby I got a bigger one for my 10-year-old to take once in a while just to enjoy a de-stress bath. Somebody said on one of the reviews that this is only about a foot long and that's definitely not true I don't know if something went went wrong with her pool or whatnot but it's not only a footlong. It's small for a little toddlers that's for sure but it's definitely got enough space for her to take a tubby in and to have extra foot rum and tweezers and bubbles and without having to worry about spills of water because it's deep but not so deep to wear it's dangerous for a toddler. not sure how to use the drain plug I was really hoping I could figure it out so I could just drain it all into the shower or the toilet instead of worrying about having to take it out bucket by bucket but I guess I'm just going to have to take it out bucket by bucket for now until I figure out how I can do it a different way.
