Loc-a-fella Loc & Twist Gel, 4 Oz

The product has a pleasant fragrance but I failed to read ingredients before purchasing. There are too many synthetic and drying agents. While it does twist and moderately hold my hair, I was disappointed that it made my hair feel brittle.

I really like this product for natural hair styling(dreadlocs, Twist etc). What I like most is that it's very light & water-based. No buildup. No tacky feeling & it holds the hair. In fact, you don't even have to wash your hands after using it. Just dry your hands with a towel & it feels like nothing was ever in your hands. I also like the way it smells & the shiny luster it gives the hair. You won't need to spray anything to make the hair shine with this product. I gave it 4 stars because I wish there was more in the jar for the price I pay.

I don't want to say this this product doesn't work because I'm sure it does but my experience with this locking gel was horrible.. I broke out with small bumps in some spots on the back of my head and they itched and burned.. I of course discontinued it and the bumps went away. That's just my experience.. everyone's boby is different.

MAn this is great for people with dreads natural hair, or who just want their hair t grow..I dont use gel too much in my hair since I dont have dreads anymore, but my wife loves it in her hair and she is puerto rican.. it makes her hair grow like crazy, and no residue! BOOOM

I love this on my dreads. I've tried several gels bt this one.takes.the.cake. It isn't oily or heavy it's light, smells good Nd holds it together. I always buy a few every time I order. I recommend this to anyone who has dreads!

I use this as a gel/edge control. Great stuff - not flaky or ashy.

Smells great, and works perfectly. Doesn't leave behind flakes like some of the other products out there.

I love this gel! It is one that holds, has a great smell, and moisturizes my scalp.
