These hinges are stronger than the 3" hinges and they have more contact area to make them easier to move a solid core or a steel door.

I bought these to replace another set of Pernod hinges that didn’t have a removable hinge pin which I needed to install hinge mounted door stops for a customer. These were the same excellent quality and arrived brand new in the package and arrived on time. My only issue is maybe more of an industry thing rather than an amazon seller thing, but hinges this heavy meant for a heavy and sturdy door should really come with longer screws. The screws included in these hinges (and many other’s hinges) always come with screws that are maybe 5/8” long. My suggestion would be to ask the manufacturer to include screws of a minimum of 1 1/2 - 2” especially for heavy doors to resist sagging.
