Step 2: With a piece of COARSE sandpaper, rough up the area you just cleaned. Make sure to move the sandpaper in all directions. You want a texture, like a cross hatch. You can't guarantee a good adhesion if the surface is smooth. Scratch it up. IF YOU DON'T HAVE SANDPAPER, USE ANYTHING WITH A POINTED TIP, LIKE A NAIL, A PUSH-PIN, A BOX-CUTTER BLADE, X-ACTO KNIFE, SCISSORS, EVEN A ROCK WILL WORK.
