Semi Trucks of the 1960s Paperback – April 18, 2012

I gave it as a gift to a mechanic who used to work on trucks of this era. We both love it. Not only did it bring back memories, but it showed quite a few lesser know models that I didn't know existed. A good variety of trucks are represented.

this is a very interesting book to read and I suggest that people should purchase this to learn more about trucks but it is great history to this as well

As a kid growing up in the 1960s and 1970s, I remember seeing these trucks travelling up and down US 40 east(Pulaski Highway) east of Baltimore. This book brought back fond memories.

Good book, but nearly ALL of the photos are old B&W from back in the day. Would have preferred modern day photos of the trucks, either restored or in original condition. Had I known, I would not have purchased this book.

This was a gift for my father who is 76. He drove semi trucks in the 60's and 70's and he loved this gift that helped him remember those days. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves semi trucks.

Ron Adams books are top notch.You can't go wrong.

Great book

Nicely formatted and spot on accurate, Ron's books are an essential part of my reference library. The Shupe Bros. KW on the cover really took me back to a time when John Shupes blue and white A models ran throughout the high plains.
