Rain Bird LNDDRIPKIT Drip Irrigation Landscape/Garden Watering Kit with Drippers, Micro-Bubblers, Micro-Sprays

This is a really good kit. Comes with about anything you need to set up drip irrigation. I've only used a few pieces, but definitely plan to use more as I grow my landscaping. It is easy to put together and helps ensure my plants stay healthy particularly during the hot summer months as it allow me to set up watering automatically along with a timer.

Good kit, great value. Other kits are cheaper, but you need to buy one and stick with that brand/size , don't mess about and trying mixing too many of them. And the tool isn't the best, but you can make it work for small projects. If you need to do this yearly, I'd just invest in better tools to do the job.

The kit was easy to set up. I am happy with it. Some small things- When the temperature is under approximately 75 degrees, there is a leak at the dripper connections from the 1/2 inch tubing. Those same connections are watertight when the temperature is above 90 degrees. We are using this kit to water our 80-foot backyard garden and found the selection of drip watering devices “almost” perfect. I would consider the Rain Bird DRIPPAILQ Drip Irrigation Repair and Expansion Kit an essential supplemental purchase. The one big issue I have is the interaction with Smart hose valves. I own three Orbit BHyve valves and the Eve Aqua Smart Water Controller. On an Orbit 62010N 4 outlet Brass Hose Faucet Manifold, I have installed a Hoselink garden hose, a simple four-head lawn sprinkler system, the Orbit 69525 Micro Bubbler Complete Drip Irrigation Watering Kit, and the Rain Bird kit. The three sprinkler systems are attached to three separate Orbit BHyve units. On the Orbit kit and my lawn sprinklers, I have NEVER had a water hammer. I have had those systems in service for three years. Approximately four times out of every five uses, the Smart valve refuses to close on the Rain Bird kit and causes a water hammer. I have tried moving the valve further down the hose line, systematically removing sections of the 3-in-1 Rain Bird faucet adapter, and installing fresh batteries in the water valve to no avail. I replaced the BHyve with the Eve Aqua Smart Water Controller. I STILL got a water hammer ONLY in the Rain Bird line. I can’t fault Rain Bird for this behavior. The kit does work flawlessly and does exactly what it claims to do. However, I would be hesitant if I was setting up a DIY, Alexa, Homekit Smart water system.

I have a small backyard at my apartment which I'd been filling up with potted plants and turning into a lovely green space. It was tough to stay on top of watering sometimes, and if you screw that up in the desert Southwest, you can lose plants quickly. So I googled "hose bib irrigation kit" on a lark, not realizing such a product actually existed and from a reputable American company, no less! This kit is easy to understand, lay out, and put together. Everything is above ground, so no digging. You can operate system manually by opening the spigot, but I opted to add a cheap 1-station timer to automate and make my life a little bit easier (especially over summer when watering 2x/day is needed). The benefit of consistent watering to my plants is evident in their continued health and vigor.

I love this Rain Bird watering system. I got it as a gift from friends at my previous home and they installed it for me. I just bought a new house and my friends are 8 hours away (nuts) so I bought a new system and installed it myself. (For reference, I’m a 66 years old woman who’s thin and has a gym membership but very rarely goes! Lol) First, if you are like me, I either over water or forget to water. I’m not consistent. And I travel so I am always asking someone to water my plants while I’m gone. So this was a game changer!! I put down landscape cloth and laid the watering system hose around my new bushes and connected feeder lines where next spring’s flowers will planted, I even ran a line to my new smaller tree in the front yard under the sod I just installed. And, I ran lines to my potted plants. Whew! It only took me a couple hours. It could have been done faster if I didn’t stop and explain what I was doing to my neighbors. I set up the timer for watering at 6 am 3 days a week and I am no longer worried about killing my shrubs, trees or plants! I know my flowers will be gorgeous next year!! If you’ve thought about buying something like this, do it!! When I had my sod installed in the sandy clay dirt of Florida, I also had them put in irrigation. Guess what professional irrigation system they use??? Yes, ma’am or sir, Rain Bird.

This was an easy set up. Bought a timer and works great. Saves me so much time. This is my second set purchased. Also bought some add ons so my back garden is well set up. I can go away and not worry about my plants dying
