MENSI Propane Gas Fireplace 750 Millivolt Replacement Thermopile Generators Replace for Robertshaw Uni-Line 1950001 Model (36" Aluminium Glass Fiber Wire)

I replaced the thermopile on my vent-free gas fireplace after some troubleshooting with this one. The fireplace fired right up via the wall switch and has been working perfectly since. Easily saved me over $100 just for the service call. I did have to pry out the old thermopile with some pliers...well, pry open the bracket holding it. The diameter of this new one is slightly bigger than my old one but a quick widening of the bracket hole with the drill and all is well.

We were having trouble with our gas fireplace not firing up when the thermostat (or the manual 'on') called for heat. Or, it would not come on for a long time and then a big poooofh of flame as it lit off. Put this thermopile in and now it works perfectly.Note that the ease of installation will vary with the type of unit you have. I gave it 5 stars for ease of installation because it exactly matched the fittings in my Hearthstone Sterling gas fireplace.

There is nothing to like or dislike, it either works or it doesn't. In this case it was easy to install in a Vermont Castings propane heater and works just fine, keeping the pilot light lit and energizing the controller with millivolts when the thermostat calls for the burner to come on. The shipping was fast and the listing was correct.

Bought this to replace one that failed in my propane fireplace (pilot went out then wouldn’t stay lit). It was slightly larger diameter than the original so I had to ream out the fitting that holds it in but was not a big deal. It has only been a week but it is working great so far.

Worked great to fix my gas fireplace. It would not kick on when the thermostat clicked on. Old one was not putting out voltage. Once I installed this one the fireplace kicked on right away. Make sure you get the 2 wires connected correctly as it puts out dc voltage, so polarity is important.

It seems to be as good as the oem and works fine with. Tine will tell how it lasts!!! They seem to go quickly on my 14yr old heater!

Product arrived on time and was worked perfectly. Easy to replace worn out part on my propane fireplace.

Bought this one to replace the original which is intermittent. This one will supply the voltage needed to keep the fireplace running reliably.

I ordered this product online when i figured out that it was the problem with my gas fireplace. would not stay lit and would not fire up. Received very quickly in perfect condition, I installed it in about 30 minutes and fireplace fired up immediately and is still working great after a month or so. this product was a perfect replacement for the OEM. I saw a few competing products online and they were less money but I decided on this one even though it was a little higher price. it seemed to be the best quality and it is working great.

Pilot light on our Napoleon BGD36NTR fireplace would not stay lit for more than a few hours. After some internet research decided to replace thermocouple and thermopile. A little fiddly to replace because of limited space to get a wrench in but ultimately got replaced ina couple of hours work. Part seems to be a perfect replacement and fireplace now works perfectly.

My furnace guy quoted me $4500 to replace my gas fireplace. Told me it couldn't be fixed. Super happy I watches some youtube videos and bought this part. Gas fireplace is 20 plus years old. It's back working like new. Super happy.

Is supposed to read ~750 mV unloaded (pilot only, no burner) - reads 630 mV initially, then 15 min later reads 575 mV, then 15 min later reads 512 mV - faulty, very poor quality. Piece of junk.

I ordered this without checking some of the specifications of my fireplace so it was ordered in error about the quality appeared to be very good
