Love this food for my Syrian hamster! I mix 1-2 blocks alongside 1-2tbsp of Higgins Sunburst food and the combination is nutritionally complete. The 2lb bag is great and lasts a while and the price on here is cheaper than other places. Fast shipping too!

Everyone loves it, very palatable and I love that I don't have to worry about any vitamins, minerals, fat content, protein content etc. I'm in the process of getting a bachelor's degree in environmental science (with a focus on biology, and a heavy amount of chemistry) and this is the best stuff on the market. I was looking into making my own base mix similar to the shunamite diet for rats, but even with my scientific background it was getting overwhelming (and expensive), enter Mazuri! I was familiar with some of their other more exotic diets, but they have great stuff for the more 'normal' creatures as well.

i use this for my hamster, he loves it! this food is great to add to other hamster seed mixes because it increases the protein content. my obly qualm is that it has added sugar in the form of molasses, which isn't really great for your pet. for this reason, this brand is not safe for dwarf hamsters, since they are especially prone to diabetes. but, for my syrian hamster, it works well. he reallt enjoys the taste (probably because of all that sugar lol) and i enjoy how affordable it is.

My dwarf hamster loves his seed food but I wanted him to have something more. These blocks are great for hamster and when they eat them it helps with their teeth. As soon as I gave him a block in his food dish he immediately grabbed in and stashed it with his regular seeds.

Recommended for wildlife rehabilitation. I decided to try it for the orphan squirrels. They love it! One of the pluses is that it’s not rock hard like some other brands so they could eat these before the other brands!

The rats do eat and and there isnt any waste ..its lasted a long time too
