i'm a part time vegetarian and bought this whole case thinking it was seitan. i tried to season it and cook it and absolutely couldn't get across the texture of it. now i'm not saying its a bad product, i am new to this and most likely didn't know how to cook it properly...? hence the 3 stars. i have 9 boxes left and dunno what to do with it hahah does anyone wanna buy them for 20 bucks?? lmao

Almost expired upon arrival
This brand tastes rather briney and they sold me a case that had an expiration date only a month from purchase...I will never be able to finish it before it all goes bad. Waste of money.

Shipped past the Best Buy Date!
The were past he Best buy date when I received them. I tried one and it still tasted fine, but maybe it would be better if it was more fresh!

Great product
I was so happy to find plain jackfruit. The grocery stores near me only sell the flavored types. They're good but I like to use this in my own recipes. It lasts a long time too. Great product for vegans and vegetarians.

Not good for vegan pulled pork.
I didn’t find this to be good at all. I purchased this to make vegan pulled pork but no matter how long I cooked it, I couldn’t get that sweet taste out of the product. However I guess if you are just looking to eat it raw, it would be okay.

Jackfruit, like rice, takes on a flavor it's cooked with ...
This jackfruit concoction is sweet and tastes like a sweet pickle, but not tangy-be good in a tuna salad.
