Drybar Detox Clear Dry Shampoo

I have been using this for years. The clear version is my favorite because I find it doesn’t leave that typical white residue, and I’m a brunette. I love the smell as well. This isn’t something I buy full price, I only buy it when it’s on sale because it is very expensive for the amount, it lasts me maybe two months if I’m washing my hair more, and a bit less if I am not. I think it’s definitely worth it when it’s on sale for 20% off or more, but I wouldn’t pay full price for it just because it doesn’t last enough. It should also be noted that in contrast to their other dry shampoos with the residue, they are meant for more of an extended period time, like three days and beyond, Vs this one I have read is best used when hair hasn’t been washed in a day or two, but not as effective for three day or beyond unwashed hair (or hair that is more susceptible to greasy, prob not gonna last more than a day). I use this up until the third day of it being unwashed, sometimes the fourth, I do only wash my hair twice a week, maybe more when I’m working out hard and extra sweaty, but past the third day mark i use something like batiste, which is about a third of the cost of this and same amount of product. I find this also to be the most delicate on my hair, meaning some of the dry shampoos I have used I can feel when I run my hands through, or worse, hair has been itchy. I love this dry shampoo, I only wish it was less expensive and had more product for the price, but it is a good splurge when it’s on sale!

This is my favorite dry shampoo. I have dark brown hair. You never see the product unless you spray super close to your head but you can always brush it out. It also smells fantastic. I order it all the time! As a new mom and also really helps me cut down on doing my hair because let’s face it time is very short now!

I am one of the people who read almost all of the reviews before buying a product, so i knew what i might be getting myself into. Ill start off by saying the scent is amazing!! I got the clear one, and it still smells so great, i left the house and realized what i thought was perfume was actually just my dry shampoo 😂 Second, the dry shampoo i was using was leaving me with a lot of dandruff, and my hair just felt heavy and gross by the end of the day. Doesn’t get much worse so i thought why not give this a shot lol. This was great!!! No dandruff. My hair feels light and still looks great. Shake vigorously means shake vigorously, the white was easy to rub in Love this! Highly recommend giving it a shot :)

This stuff stinks. It smells like the cheap, Walmart perfume a teenager wears before she knows any better. Half vanilla, half urinal cake. Luckily, it seems to wear off quickly after brushing it through. All this said, it really is pretty invisible, and it does a good job without leaving a weird residue or drying your hair out too much. Also: the can is really kind of small for how much dough they want for this. At this price, I wish the scent wasn't so gross.

This is the best dry shampoo I’ve ever tried! I’ve been using it for months now after trying at least 3 other brands, so many good things to say. I have color treated finer hair. I use the clear one and although my hair is darker (auburn) I never have any problems like I’ve had with other brands making my hair look grey or dull. I like to put it in at night and sleep on it, my hair looks fantastic for the next day, even better than after wash day! I also have sensitive skin/scalp, most dry shampoos make me itch constantly, this one only does if I leave it in more than a day. Also it smells amazing!

Leaves no residue and does not have a heavy scent. I usually use the Living Proof dry shampoo, but decided to give this a try since sometimes living proof dry shampoo leaves white residue and I wasn't loving that. This really does make my hair feel refreshed and alive again!

I want to start by saying I LOVE the Dry Bar, detox dry shampoo but thought I’d give this one a try for the “clear” aspect. Did NOT make my hair less greasy, in fact it made it worse and gave a wet flat look. Also used it up in like 4 uses bc it’s so terrible. Waste of money, lesson learned just bc a company has one product you love doesn’t mean all their products are the same standard. 2 thumbs down.

The product is great and does the job wonderfully, however, the smell is terrible. It smells like strong, stale perfume. I canNOT handle the smell, and it lasts ALL DAY LONG. If this product was scent-free it would be 5 stars all the way!
