Nature Anatomy

We absolutely love the books in this series - Julia Rothman does an amazing job capturing the essence of nature in this book. Nature Anatomy is our newest addition to our collection. The illustrations are incredible, the information is great for beginners looking to learn the ropes, and is a great inclusion for homeschooling. My 7 year old daughter really loves learning the basics you need to know about nature from these books, and I do as well! It has definitely encouraged us to explore these elements outside more. It's a great balance between art and science. Highly recommend!

I'm so impressed with the illustrations! The book is thicker than I imagined. My soon-to-be 8 year old grandson who loves all things nature will thoroughly enjoy every page!

This book is a true masterpiece and it deserves much more good reviews than it has. First of all, it is a MUST HAVE for homeschooling younger kids. Illustrations are beautiful and adorable. It is not as informative as a classic encyclopedia would be, but it is also not as intimidating for little kids. The only downsides I can see is that a) it is written in cursive, thus there is absolutely no chance for beginner readers to study it without others; b) it covers certain fields of nature, but not all. For example, there is plenty of information on North American animals, but there is nothing about African/Asian/Polar wildlife. It is safe to say ,that it covers only local nature, so to say. However,I will not lower the stars, because it is a great book nonetheless and it will be very beneficial for any kids.

I love this book. The illustrations are gorgeous and the content is engaging. My children ages ranging from 3-11 are all able to get something from Nature Anatomy. Level up your nature walks by having this book as a reference to reflect on what you saw afterwards.

So love these books and the price was great. Unfortunately arrived damaged thanks to Amazon.

Ursprünglich hatte ich das Buch für meine 9-jährige Tochter gekauft, aber es ist inzwischen bei allen Familienmitgliedern äußerst beliebt. Die Illustrationen sind durchweg liebevoll und ansprechend gemacht, so dass man automatisch auf den Seiten hängen bleibt und mehr darüber wissen will. Die Informationen dazu sind kurz und knapp und schaffen es doch, das Wichtigste zu vermitteln. Ein Buch, das man gerne immer wieder ansieht!

It's like author's journal..it's good reference book..it's good enough to inspire young kids to explore nature around them and start journalling..though it's based on American landscape I still think u can use it as reference to do your own research about your own country landscape,nature,insect,animals.i got farm anatomy,nature anatomy and ocean anatomy..all are good books ..well packed with information and not too many photos but nice illustrations which is selling point of this books.if these types of books written about Indian nature,farming..small and simple contents..our kids will surely start doing there own journalling..and self study.
