The wrong laptop all because of one sticker *EDIT* A Gaming Monster!
The media could not be loaded. I just got my laptop which is suppose to have RBG keyboard lighting but, instead I got its $1099 version all because of a sticker. I made sure I bought the correct model I wanted and I also checked the box. What was messed up was that there was another sticker over the original box which shad the info of some of the specs and what model it is. What I got the the PH315 52 78VL while the model I wanted was the PH 315 52 72RG. How can they mess this up?! If they double checked both stickers this wouldn’t have been a problem.*EDIT* 11/24/2019:So this basically how my return went. I talked to Amazon and the only thing that they could do is let me return the package and once it got to their facility is when they can refund me. I live in Hawaii so the time it got to Amazon took awhile and it wasn't priority shipping. Took around a week. Anyway I was displeased about waiting that long that but I understand since I live quite a bit aways. So after getting my refund, and reordering the same exact laptop from the same seller, they finally gave me the right laptop in about 3 days. After using the laptop for a couple weeks a few things right off the bat is that this gaming on this laptop is amazing. For reference, I was playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare on Ultra settings on every little thing I can get put it on and I was able to max 150 fps but average about 110-120 fps on turbo mode. Without turbo mode, you would a get a solid 90 fps. Keep in mind while using turbo, increases how loud the laptop gets with its fans and it can get pretty loud. ALSO FOR THOSE WONDERING YOU CAN USE VR WITH THIS LAPTOP. I was able to play VR Chat with the Oculus Quest with the Oculus Link software and a 3rd party USB 3.0 cable. Runs like a dream but have to test more games withing the PC Oculus App and try Steam VR soon. The camera quality, mic quality, and speaker quality are all sub-par but, it is a gaming laptop so I had no issues with all of these since it could be fixed with a webcam if needed and most gamers would use a headset with a mic anyway. On the outside, this PC can get hot especially on the keyboard but, wasn't bothersome for me. The fans vents are placed on both sides of the laptop and not under, releasing quite a bit of heat. Also I found that the charging port seems to block the left fan vent, so to give the laptop optimal cooling I just placed the laptop on the side of a desk and just flipped the charger downwards. When it comes to battery life with this laptop, it runs well on gaming when plugged in. However, gaming without a charging really drains the battery. Gave me about 2 hours although I could've lowered the brightness, turned off the rgb keyboard, and set the battery to "Best battery life" rather then "Best performance". The keyboard took a bit of getting used to. Coming from a 15" macbook pro was not too bad. I say this because Acer added the keypad on the right of laptop and sort squishing the regular keyboard making it a smaller. than the macbook keys. I was a bit put off by it but easily got used to it and can type just as fast as I did before.Other than that, I would've gave this overall view 4 because of the mishap in the beginning of this purchase but because I was very impressed on how well the laptop runs , I give it a 5/5. It is a great gaming laptop by all means and if you want to upgrade the hard drive storage you're able to. It can be used as a regular everyday laptop and give significant amount of battery life (on the right settings). When it comes to a gaming this has to be by far one of the best bang for your buck laptops out there.

Very good for starter or amateur gaming. A few kinks but great
There is no touchscreen. Screen is amazing. Works very well when plugged in, not so well unplugged. Had some trouble with graphics card but it was just configured wrong. The fans make a weird noise as well but it gets quiet the faster it spins. Battery life is trash but that's to be expected. You should use an external keyboard when gaming because it gets very hot. Would recommend for starter gaming laptop.Update: That weird fan noise that I mentioned out of the box turned out to be a faulty component. The laptop burnt out almost exactly one year after purchase. If you hear a weird noise from your fan, return the product immediately or your computer will break like mine did.

Best Gaming Laptop I ever had
This Laptop is just the new version of Acer Predator Helios. I received mine after seven days. I really love this laptop. Much better cooling system than the older versions. This one is the 500gb version(Western Digital). It has also RGB lights on the keyboard. Photo and video editing can also work good on this laptop.Just an update (Nov 29 2019)Laptop is working good still. I'm playing Star Wars: Fallen Order and at medium and high settings and the game plays excellent. I have also downloaded Ni No Kuni Remastered and the temperature is mild warm. Battlefront 2 gameplay temperature is higher about 80 degrees celsius.Update (April 13 2020)Laptop is still working. I really love this laptop. The performance didn't decrease. Since the updates, my laptop doesn't warm that bad.

Lasted less that 2 years
My daughters PH315-52-72RG mother board went out in less that 2 years. Where do I go and who do I speak to? Expensive laptop and she have nothing now.

Works great for gaming, rgb lights are a nice touch
The only issue I have is keeping the GPU temp down when playing call of duty. It usually runs at 84c, but I don't have a cooling pad yet and also I dont overclock. I haven't had any issues with any game. The RGB lights are a nice touch and you can adjust brightness and colors. They also come in static or dynamic lighting too. Overall, great aesthetics and is worth the extra $200 for the rgb feature from the 78XL model. Good budget gaming laptop, no need to spent 2k

Awesome Computer
First off, I've haven't had much experience with gaming laptops, so I might not be the best review to base a purchase off of. But so far, I love this laptop. Yes it does get loud when you are into heavy gaming, but I usually where headphones. The graphics are much better than any computer I've had so far. Yes I do agree that the battery life is short, but I never have my laptops unplugged anyway. All in all, awesome computer.

Perfect Gaming Laptop
I had the 2018 version of this laptop and i was skeptical on buying this version because the 2018 version had some awful thermals. After reading some reviews i decided to just go for it and it was totally worth it. This thing barely goes over 80 degrees and runs everything i play at high settings. Its a bit loud but at least it stays cool. The keyboard is great and the overall laptop looks and feels amazing. Highly recommend!
