Lilac and Gooseberry Perfume Oil | .3 ounces Roll On Bottle | Phthalate Free Fragrance | Yennefer Perfume Scent of a Sorceress

This perfume oil is amazing. Was not sure what to expect, but ordered it after watching The Witcher on Netflix and playing Witcher 3, all the references to lilac and gooseberries made me very curious what it smells like. As soon as I received it the smell was not what I expected at all, I guess I thought it would be a lot more floral (which I actually don't like) but I was very pleasantly surprised. It definitely has a sweet lilac scent but it is not super flowery, the balance of the tart sweet gooseberry scent blends it perfectly so it just smells amazing. Pretty indescribable, but I would say the overall scent profile is fresh. Slightly sweet in a clean way, once it's applied to my skin and warms up, mixes with my body chemistry it definitely pulls a lot more tart berry than lilac. Let's talk for a quick second about the longevity. Holy heck, this perfume lasts forever. I applied it as soon as I got it around noon yesterday, and when I woke up this morning I could still smell it lingering on my skin. It's also pretty powerful, be careful how much you apply because too much of a good thing can still be too much. It triggered a slight asthma attack when I decided to apply even more of the already generous application I had done earlier in the day. It's so affordable there's no reason to not try this perfume, I don't think you will be disappointed because it is such a unique and amazing scent. Very feminine and my husband is definitely a big fan

I’ve tried a few brands who have tried to create Yennefer’s scent and this one is hands down the best! It smells great even after it’s been sitting on the skin for hours, you can smell both scents separately and all together. The sweetness of the gooseberries and the freshness of the lilac go together beautifully. I think this perfume is perfectly balanced and has that intoxicating edge to it the way Geralt describes yennefers scent. Definitely buying the other products next!

So, I bought the rollerball bc I’ve never bought perfume online without smelling it and the perfume is not cheap. First I will say, the fragrance is probably the best scent I’ve ever smelled, especially if you like gourmands or fruit. The lilac pairs perfectly with whatever the heck a gooseberry is and you can even smell the tartness and ripeness of the berry. It’s similar to the way you can actually smell the fizziness in champagne toast by BBW. When people say you can smell the ripe juiciness of the berry, they are not exaggerating. Now the sad part, contrary to most perfume rollerballs this is the fragrance oil diluted in coconut oil. It’s not just the perfume in a roller wand. It doesn’t last on my skin for more than 10 min before it goes jammy like grape jelly. Top notes of lilac and the acidity in the gooseberries immediately evaporates leaving mostly a light grape scent. I checked the actual perfume reviews and no one says the fragrance is short lived (in that version) so I’m hoping it’s just the dilution giving this version issues with long-wear. I think the candle would probably also be a good bet because the fragrance throw is continuous. Overall, incredible fragrance and I’ll be buying the perfume now that I know what it smells like. I cannot stop walking over to the rollerball and sniffing it. 😂 It’s that good!

Edit #2 .. this is magic , it gets better as it ages .. the opposite of most scents . I’ve had for a few months now . Most of the overly sweet scent is gone leaving a lovely, interesting scent.. and best of all for a person that gets scent induced migraines.. no headache at all . Edit: this stuff changes! It gets better . The sickly sweet notes evaporate. Leaves a much better scent. My friends love it .. so I will be buying more for them Valentine’s Day. Overly sweet top notes( let it air out or sit for a month ) , middle has some intriguing bits … zero base = no sticking power. You will have to reapply every 30 min . On the plus side .. I do get scent induced migraines and there was none from this .( STILL NO HEADACHE!!) I would love a scent with just the non sugary middle notes , that lasted more than 20 min. Arrived quickly , nice packaging, lovely label. EDIT: After a few days with the cap open the cotton candy smell evaporated . Leaving the scent more mature & much better smelling . Still has a short life ..BUT I discovered that it lasts much longer on fabric! I’m starting to enjoy it but still wish it wasn’t quite as much sugar smell. I actually wish they made a shampoo with this scent . Or a fabric spray. I was super disappointed at 1st , but it gets better every day . And now I reach for it . So confused!

Love love love the smell of this. It's so different. You can definitely get a whiff of the lilac but it also has a tart note to it. It does not last long, maybe three ish hours so I like to toss it in my person and take it with me to reapply. The applicator is a roller ball and I use it on my pressure points. I liked it so much I bought one for my friend and she (and her husband) love the scent.

Oh, how I wanted to love this. I have perfume oils that have lasted me for years and you can smell the scent all day long. I wanted this to be the same. Sadly, it is not. While the fragrance is unique and beautiful, the scent fades super-fast.

I was concerned due to the reviews saying it smelled strongly of cherry life savers or cough syrup but omg I'm blown away. It smells so softly of cherry and then the floral notes of lilac kick in. It's smells like candied lilac. I'm in love!!! It's sweet and floral, light and refreshing. I'm not a fan of scents that linger too long and this blends into my skin nicely, it lasts about an hour or two before I can't smell it anymore. I'd rather it be lighter so I can layer up and reapply when I'm ready. I will be buying the spray when I finished the roller oil. It is a more pricey then I'd normally buy but it's a small company and hand made so it's worth it! I think I found my signature scent! You have to trust your witcher on this one.
