Art and story perfection
Naoki urasawa is known for his amazing artwork, 20th Century boys combines his amazing artwork with a phenomenal story, it's definitely worth the buy

The cast moves a few steps closer to a confrontation with the Friend, we learn a bit more about the Friend's history and see some more of Yabuki Joe, who may or may not be the return of our lond-dead hero Kenji.

All is great but volume 17 and 19 are missing.

Retour à Tokyo
18è volume d'une saga qui touche à sa fin. Se dirige vers Tokyo, avec aux lèvres et à la guitare une chanson en passe de devenir un tube, quelqu'un que l'on croyait mort. L'opposition à l'Ami a placé tous ses espoirs en Kanna. Sera-t-elle à la hauteur ? Mais même au plus près de l'Ami, le bloc se fissure. Ou bien s'agit-il encore d'une nouvelle obscure machination ? Qui est vraiment l'Ami ? De la tenue (malgré les diverses bifurcations plus ou moins utiles au récit principal), de la qualité dans les dessins, une grande attention à la construction des personnages et aux dialogues font de ce récit d'une incroyable conspiration à l'échelle mondiale une lecture globalement satisfaisante.

Masterfully done, but not much progress
I wonder if there's much point in reviewing volume 18 of a 21 book series. I mean no one's going to start with book 18, and if you've gotten this far surely you're going to finish... But what the heck. Book 18 has Urasawa's usual masterful storytelling but there's not much preogress to our long-running plot. The cast moves a few steps closer to a confrontation with the Friend, we learn a bit more about the Friend's history and see some more of Yabuki Joe, who may or may not be the return of our lond-dead hero Kenji. There are some very good scenes, but things felt a little padded with no new answers and few new questions.
