Soft, easy to form around pills.
These pill pockets work great! I have to give my kitty a small pill twice a day and was refusing any form I gave, until these. I only need a half of a pocket for her pill so it's small enough to hide in her moist food or treats - though doing it when she's most hungry is helpful since she's too busy eating to consider this "lump" in her food, lol!I have been using them for a few months and they remain soft and easy to use. Great find, wonderful price, a true life saver for my kitty!

Fabulous value for small DOGS, too!
My 14-year-old small dog is currently undergoing metronomic chemo, and has to take two other medications for osteoporosis and anxiety. We're going through four of these a day, and this was the most affordable option I was able to find. The dog pill pockets are much more expensive (than buying the feline ones in a bulk bag); the dog pill pockets are for large capsules, but since all of his pills are small, these work great. Med time is YUMMY!Also, note that the price on these vacillates quite often; good idea to keep an eye out for discounts and even comparison with other sellers. I personally look at Jungle Deals and use the camelcamelcamel tool, where you can export your wish list and set the price at which you want to be notified when reached.

OMG this really DOES WORK!!!
I never could pill my cats. I got my first cat in 1980. No matter how it was explained to me or what vet showed me or what video I tried, nothing worked. When my 14 1/2 year old cat Smokey was diagnosed with hyperthyroid the nightmare continued. I tried crushing the pill and putting it in his food but tests later suggested that negated the pill's efficacy. I tried doing it by hand. I tried then hiding one pill in some cheap but tasty catfood and it worked...to a point. Today I got my first batch of pill pockets and omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That pill pocket was to Smokey what a pizza from Frank Peppe's Pizzaria in New Haven is to me. He eagerly devoured it and the pill inside. His sister Patches saw him eating it and was upset she didn't get one, but a few minutes of petting led her to forgive me. This REALLy works and since he has to have these pills twice a day he'll be having pill pockets twice a day. JUST AS ADVERTISED.

Works for dewormer pills
One cat loves them! The other cat wouldn’t touch them. Otherwise they worked wonders for the one cat! These pills are kinda big and she ate it whole with the pill pockets. Hopefully this dewormer works and I won’t have to have an expensive vet bill. Pills also purchased on Amazon.

Magic solution to pilling our Kitty
For us the chicken flavor has been like magic for Kitty. We are having to give her a half a steroid pill twice a day and after she eats a little bit of regular chicken we give her one of those pill pockets with the half a capsule in it and she chews it and swallows it and no fights. No more chasing Kitty around the house with other things! It smells great and she goes crazy over it every time.

Purr-spectives on FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS: A Love/Hate Treat Tale for Cats
I unveiled a pack of FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS for Cats, all-natural tender cat treats in chicken flavor, and my trio of cats eagerly consumed them. My expectations were high for these pill pockets as a functional solution to administer medication to my feline companions. However, the experience was a combination of good and bad outcomes.Despite my diligent attempts to make the pill pockets appealing, my trio of felines exhibited a minimal interest in these delicacies. Their tolerance for them was limited to instances when there was no concealed pill, as their enthusiasm rapidly dissipated. Adding insult to injury, one of my cats actually threw up after ingesting a pill pocket, resulting in significant distress for both of us.I argue these pill pockets might be more potent for particular felines. The Greenies bag sparked a genuine sense of curiosity in my cats from the start. Regrettably, their enthusiasm waned immediately upon tasting the pill pockets. I suspect the pill pockets' soft texture was a clear departure from the tougher Greenies treats they are used to, which appeared to confuse them.I must applaud the notion behind FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS, as they offer ahassle-free approach to give medication to felines. Despite my cats' varying reactions, I would endorse them to fellow cat owners, albeit with a cautionary note. These pill pockets may prove useful for certain cats, particularlythose with less discerning taste buds. However, it's important to realize that the result can be unpredictable. While seeking an alternative method that would be more effective for my cat, I stumbled upon an alternative approach. I got a pill crusher from Amazon, enabling me to crush the medication into a fine powder. Subsequently, I mix the powdered medication with a diminutive portion of Science Diet food, almost the same width as a pinky finger. I have found this technique to be more efficient for medicating my cat than pill pockets.Ultimately, the FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS for Cats has both advantages and disadvantages. Despite being effective for a few cats, my trio of feline buddies didn't react positively to them. I experience both affection and animosity towards these pill pockets. Should you opt to try them out, I recommend testing various methods to determine the optimal approach for your feline. The individuality of each feline friend causes the identification of a personalized, efficient, and comfortable way to give medication.

If your cat likes them it saves SO much hassle!
Thyroid medicine twice a day.Thank goodness the little guy likes these! Some of our cats have not been interested. If they are, it helps to give one occasionally without medication so they are on open to the idea should they ever need medication. If you are lucky, and they get shipped with heavy items that smash them - you can just wrap them around the pill and squish it to cover. If your cat wants to chew it, you can split one and make a smaller bite so they don't chew it open and lose the pill.If the pill is really nasty tasting or strong smelling, consider buying the teeny gelatin capsules and pre-wrapping it before adding to the pill pocket. Most of our cats prefer the tuna and cheese flavor, but the salmon works too.
