Support has been great
Update: Support sent me a new cord and that has fixed the issue. Thank you so much! Bought in March of 2023, it randomly stopped charging correctly throughout September of 2023 and died today October 3rd 2023. Used it since the first day I got it back in March. Contacted Blackvue and Blackvue wonโt help, told me to contact the vendor. However here on Amazon, it says I am no longer allowed to return or exchange it ending up with a $330 junk of a paperweight.

Great Battery for cars with sensitive computers!
I have been running a BlackVue DR750S-2CH in my car for around a year. I originally had it hardwired straight to my fuse box with a power magic pro. This originally worked great but I noticed that because it used the car's battery, the computer on my Volvo S60 thought there was a drain and would always state Low Battery everytime I would start it. It was a minor inconvenience which this battery solves it as my dashcam will run on the separate battery. I was able to reset the computer and after running this for a week, I don't have that issue anymore so I highly recommend anyone with a European based car to get one of these. Also the battery life is as stated and I got a little over 20 hours with WiFi/GPS on my dashcam which is great. Because this battery uses lithium iron phosphate, it charges really quickly and because my commute is 35 minutes, the battery charges in no time when hardwired to the fuse box. Although if you use the 12 volt adaptor, it does take longer. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase of this battery and will probably buy the expansion. Only minor complaint was that it is a bit bigger than expected so I had to wire the battery inside my glovebox as it wouldn't fit under my seat in my car (amplifier and ecm). But it works great and for my car, I didn't even have to drill any holes which is a plus.

Great product and worth the hefty price tag
I read up a lot about this battery and was skeptical after reading mixed reviews but finally pulled the trigger and bought it and I couldn't be happier. The hardwire install is very easy (finding the right fuse is the hardest part) and the unit fits snug under my seat. The unit itself is large but I realize that the electronics inside this pack are different because it reaches a full charge in 40 minutes. This battery powers my Blackvue DR900X-2ch flawlessly and I run a 4G hotspot device off the USB port. This unit is pricey in comparison to other battery systems but I do believe that it is in a league of its own. If you're looking for Parking mode on your dashcam without the fear of running your car battery flat then this is the way to go.

Expensive but does what it's supposed to do
I've had a good experience with this battery so far. I've got mine hardwired to a switched fuse and powering a BlackVue DR900S-2CH camera set. Overall I'm more happy with it than I thought I might be, especially given the price. I previously had one of BlackVue's PowerMagic Pro for the OBDII port and it was fine - but I think it was damaging my battery over time - even on the highest voltage switch setting. This battery is a better option overall for parking mode coverage. The Good Battery Life: I was expecting a pretty big hit running a dual camera setup but from the timing I've been looking at the estimated life left, it's been averaging around the estimated 20-21 hours of backup time. This is more than enough to get through a standard work week for me. And I'm "fortunate" enough to have about a 20-25 minute commute each way so it keeps the battery pretty much topped up just going back and forth to work and running errands over the weekend. Charging Time: You'll definitely want to hardwire this. If you're trying to recharge this from the 12V plug, it's going to take a lot of driving. With the hardwire connection, it is close to the 40 min estimated time in the listing. I'd say it's just a hair longer than that at maybe 45-50 minutes from dead - but still pretty quick. Good App: The app is simple but it works well and provides real time info. I can even connect to it from inside the house to check the battery level (when I was trying to gauge the remaining life). I would like to see this integrated into the regular BlackVue app so I don't have to have two apps, but it's not too big of a deal. The Meh Size: This thing is not small and it's not light, and there was no clean place that I could install it in my footwells (2016 4Runner). I ended up velcroing it to the top of the inside of my glovebox. Thankfully there's a little removable door on the side of my glovebox so I could run the cables right into without drilling. And I can still access my cabin air filter panel without removing the battery. If you're going to mount it upside down, I would recommend tossing out the included velcro strips and replacing with something like 3M's Dual Lock heavy duty fastener instead. Connections: Well, one connection is annoying for me, really. This should really come with a cable to directly wire a BlackVue camera without using the 12V cig lighter plug. That just takes up even more space where you're mounting it and provides a potential failure point for your connection - you may want to consider taping this up with some electrical tape to keep secure. I'm sure the 12V connector is included to make it compatible with a lot of other cameras, but this is a BlackVue product, for this price, it should come with a direct wire to connect the camera. That's probably it. I don't think there's really "bad" about this... other than the price. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a solid backup solution for parking mode.

Almost perfect
Installing dash cams in cars isn't without its flaws, particularly in the department of powering the dash cams without depleting the starter battery. After all, what use is a dash cam if you can't drive the car after a day or two. This product was recommended to me by Black vue, as the previous product they sold is no longer sold (Power Magic Pro), for my DR900S-1CH. It is pretty neat having the ability to tap an always-on fuse in tandem with an ACC fuse, so as to not deplete the battery, however that feature is lost if you don't have a compatible dash cam -- such as my DR900S, an older dash cam from black vue. No matter, I didn't mind this -- I just have it tapped into the head unit which automatically turns off after 15 minutes of walking away from my car. One flaw that I was a little bit disappointed with, was the fact that it doesn't connect to the cloud in the same way as the dash cam does, so the battery percentage remaining isn't displayed on-app without being within eye-sight of the battery. The only indication I get that the battery is depleted, is if my camera disconnects from the cloud -- at which point it will be too late to do anything about it. In terms of form factor, it is also quite large for the battery capacity, but that could be due to the type of battery it contains -- needing to be quite flexible in temperature and fast charge/discharge. Overall, I'm happy, but I can see room for improvement in a lot of ways.

Solid product. Just what I wanted.
I installed this for a Garmin DashCam 66w using a Garmin parking mode cable and a few add-a-fuse connectors. Works just fine. The bluetooth app came right up, no major issues. I would ask that perhaps the manufacturer could include 1 extra cable for the dashcam output port that is just raw wires instead of a cigarette lighter port. I had to cut the cigarette lighter port off (so I could use the special connector that plugs into the battery at the other end) and just ran the +/- wires to the park mode cable (which has a fuse and does the voltage conversion). Otherwise... great product. Works as advertised. Yes, it's a bit more expensive than anyone would like but that's because it's a special type of battery that charges faster and can handle heat/cold. Well made. No regrets.

Stay Away
This system us just plain crap. I must say after hearing so many good things about it, I am disgusted. I spent over $1300 on the 900X Plus, 124-E Battery, 124-E battery extender, and hardwire pro installation, so that I could keep the cam running for 52 hours (their words, not mine). I have a Verizon hotspot to remain live, and I shelled out the $12 per month to get the unlimited cloud usage. Oh yea, you must pay for that too, even though the crappy app rarely connects in the first place. This is in a brand-new Jeep Wrangler. My setup has the hardware with a relay to shutoff the juice from the battery, just in case. Didnโt want to go out one day and my battery was dead, because the crappy app didnโt work correctly. The app is crap and the battery app is even more crap. Here is an example of how crappy this system really is: I came home last night at 5 PM, my battery app showed 100% full capacity. I get notified at 3AM that the cam disconnected. I go out, at 7AM, and the battery is dead. Both batteries. I have been dealing with support (who must think we are all idiots) to no avail. We then get into the crappy app. All config settings are stored on a micro card in firmware. Make one setting change and the entire app croaks and crashes. Good luck changing your hotspot settings. The app will crash once you do. Then, you canโt get into your crappy app over the cloud, because the crappy app doesnโt play nice with long SSID passwords. Supposed to be able to take 32 characters. Eh eh, donโt think so. Support says to edit the firmware on the micro card on your computer using the crappy software. The images they send me, well I donโt have those options. They say, well you probably formatted the card. Ehhhhh. Wrong again. I pulled the card right out of the camera. There is so much more wrong with this system, I would bore you with the specifics. The videos on this cam however are very crisp. When I can see them. Unfortunately, I have been wrestling with this setup for over a month now, so seeing them has been minimum. I am sooooo ready to just rip it out and write it off as bad misfortune. Save your money and buy elsewhere. You will rip your hair out with this crap. I called the installer and asked for his assistance, he gave me great advice. First of all, he couldnโt cover the hardware because I didnโt purchase it there, I purchased it here. But he advised in the future: โDonโt ever buy electronics off of Amazon or anywhere else that you cannot install yourself.โ Reason I say that is because I had to return the first cam because the Wi-Fi button got pushed in (or fell off). You know the rest of the storyโฆ I took the time to write this short review just so others would know that the golden child โBlackvueโ series is utterly crap. Waste of money, time, and brain cells.

Video and audio is very clear. If you're running with audio on, be careful what you say lol!
Bought the battery and 1 expandable to go with my DR900S and I love it. Camera works beautifully and the double battery pack lasts...who knows how long. Its never gone dead with multiple times of truck sitting for 3 days at a time. The system's a bit pricey but I doy research and know that you get what you pay for. Thumbs up! ๐

Option if you want parking mode in your dash cam but can't connect directly to the battery.
I bought a new dash cam for my mazda 3 2021. I wanted to use the parking mode but it has to be connected directly to the battery or to the fuse. For the fuse, it requires one that is constantly power and one that turns off when the engine is off. Unfortunately, mazda 3 2021, all the fuses inside the cabin are powered even if the engine is off. Connecting the dash cam will drain the battery completely. There is another way which is to drill a hole in the grommet where the steering wheel is, to get to the fuses under the hood. But that will void the warranty of the car. Blackvue solves that issue. Somehow it knows when the engine is off. When it does, it automatically switches the dash cam to parking mode. However, there are some instances, when it didn't switch to parking mode and it got drained. Since, I have another device that sits in between this battery and the cigarette adapter in my car (that disconnects the power after engine shutdown), this didn't affect the car battery. That device between this battery and my car cigarette adapter is needed, because in mazda 3 2021, the car cigarette adapter is also always powered no matter what. To keep this blackvue battery constantly connected will drain the car battery. Other than those occasions where this blackvue battery didn't switch to parking mode, this has been a good alternative to my current situation. When the car warranty is over and when this blackvue battery dies, I will connect it to the car battery under the hood. For now, blackvue serves its purpose!
