After researching and seeing how simple the installation was for the extang 2.0 tri-fold bed cover I was dead set on getting it for my ranger. Unfortunately due to how I optioned my truck it made installing a pain.I have a 6' bed which has a spray in liner from the factory. The 6 foot bed cover comes with two L-brackets which have to be screwed into the bed of the truck right above the tie downs near the cab. These pre drilled holes had to be tapped, in order to clean out the over spray so that the bolts could be screwed in.My Ranger then had bed caps and so the instructions call for some cutting to make clearance for good contact on all of the clamps. This wasn't much of a surprise as one of my friends installed an extang tri fold on his F-150 and mentioned this.The bulkhead accessory rail was a must for me again due to the bed caps, without the rail accessory there is a nice gap between the bulk head and tri fold cover.Three sets of instructions1)Rail Accessory2)Auxiliary Bed Rail Brackets3)Cover Installation SheetI wish I was aware of all this before hand (I would have gone another route). I hope this review can help someone with a drop in bed or sprayed in liner as this easy to install cover can turn into a weekend project.Update: 1/15/2020After watch the BAKFlip MX4 install it seems their installation also includes the bulkhead rail accessory for the Ranger.

For the 2019 Ford Ranger the cover comes with 2 brackets for strengthening the screw down clamps junction to the cab end bed wall. This over the top addition includes 4 bolts needed to attach brackets to preexisting truck bed threaded holes. The bolts also include a bit of loc-tite type treatment. The cover is easy to install and remove. No rails to install (with clamps that work loose over time). It is definitely a solid option in every respect.

So simple to install. Top rated quality. Friend has his for 5 yrs no problems. This is the one to get.

Everything was ok, arrived later than promised, but box was damaged and had scratches on cover, but did not want to go thru the hassle of returning the item. Big hole in center of box. Have photos of damaged box from shipper.
