Very Heavy Duty But Challenging to Install
The Good: these things are substantial. The largest part of the pin body is a full half-inch in diameter. Once they are in place, the door is definitely not coming out unless you find some way to hook the door to a tractor and pull it out, frame and all.The Bad: these guys came wrapped in a scrap of brown paper with absolutely no instructions. So you have no idea what tools you need, where on the hinge the holes should be drilled, or how to deal with the door and frame, which also need drilled out. One star off due to the lack of instructions. Templates would REALLY be nice. The Ugly: unless you have access to a drill press, a half-inch drill bit and at least a 9/16" bit, don't even bother. The half-inch bit is for the collar and the pin itself. Before you try to drive the pin into the collar, put some oil on that puppy - it's a snug fit. A half-inch hole on the other side of the pin is not large enough to accommodate the arc of the pin head. You need a 9/16" hole in the frame side of the hinge and it has to be offset 1/32" away from the hinge pin so that the arc of pin will clear the front of the hole and still snug nicely against the back of the hole. Otherwise, you can try to elongate a half-inch hole, which is not trivial. I cannot imagine drilling those holes with a hand-held power drill - a drill press makes the job manageable. A second star off due to the difficulty of installation.Follow-Up: If you go to the manufacturer's website (sovilok.com), they have an installation guide there, so plus 1/2 star for at least having instructions somewhere. However, my set was shipped without their "blind hole transfer" device, so minus that 1/2 star.

Grate product!!
Works as described and they are about idiot-proof to install. I did remove the hinges one at a time and drilled the holes to size and reinstalled them to act as final drill guides in the door edge. That makes it easier to poison the holes. Other than that they installed and worked as described. Easy for us DYS handy-person types.
