Stellar beams and brightness
My only minor negative on this particular item is that it comes with low-temperature H1 bulbs. I bought another set of Sylvania ZXE bulbs, what a difference!Other than that, great Hella quality, the beam is fantastic, a real prober-of-the-darkness.EDIT 202512 years later, the lenses have taken on a decidedly milky appearance, and the light coming out is just not impressive any longer. Time for new ones I guess. I didn't think I was going to have to replace them unless they broke.

These are Hella bright.
No joke, don't even think about using these with people around. They're like police search team levels of brightness. would definitely recommend if you have an older 4 eyed car for high beams.

HELLA has all ways have excellent quality in their products. I just put in L.E.D. high power lamps in to try out in my old Cadillac and they are great.

The Difference Between Night and Day
Night vision compared with the original sealed beams is like night a day, with a sharp beam cut off that doesn’t blind oncoming drivers. The stock Hella lamps, don’t cut it though. To experience the full advantage of these headlights buyers should replace them with Silvania Ultra White bulbs. Then you’ll have lights close to Xenon, 4300K.
