Wildlife Ecology, Conservation, and Management 3rd Edition

So I love the Book there’s a lot of information so you can be hard to understand it’s even harder to understand when your teacher will not help you and decide to take personal days instead of talking to you so you understand what’s happening figuring it out yourself is kind of hard so if you have a supportive teacher you might want there help. But over all the book is very informative and the class by its self was great

I have a Phd in Wildlife Ecology and I can say with a great deal of confidence that this book is by far the best Wildlife management text I have ever read. I wish a text of this quality and comprehensive content had been available when I was teaching!!!

I had to purchase this text for a graduate class I am taking. It can be heavy on the math however, there is a book website that allows you to view the R code for any models given in the text which I think is very helpful since not all of us are proficient in R and R is going to be used more in statistics since it is a freely accessible program. The bulk of the teaching is via examples from the field.

This is a must for ecologists. Basic concepts easily explained and lots of examples.

Complex subject presented in a very simplistic and easy to understand manner.

I wish there were more pictures, I learn well from them! It has most information but I wish it had some information on adaptations to abiotic factors and reproduction.

I had to have to this for a basic wildlife course. This book is the most boring wildlife book I have ever opened. However, It is what I ordered and it was in great shape and made of good quality.
