Nice replacement for a scooter accelerator

DOA, and when fixed out voltage is 0.5 to 4.2
I was hoping to use this throttle for a motor speed controller where the control range must be 0 to 5 volts. This unit had no specs so I took a chance Issue 1: the unit did not work. After some testing I found the internal hall sensor (49E was not working). Fortunately I had a few laying around so I replaced it. The unit then worked. However. Issue 2. When the handle is in the off state the output voltage is around 0.8 VDC and when full on, the output was around 4.2 VDC. Maybe for some specific bikes that rage translates to full off and full on. My motor controller requires 0-5. So this unit will not work. I'm guessing the blown sensor is an isolated incident since others can get them working. Not here...

Intermittent situation makes it not dependable
Seam to work than this product wants to run in the backward direction and locks up it's a random intermittent situation and the wires are correct. I will give it 2stars for shipping and looks. Hope it works for you. I can't give it a star review for that
