Great “table tea”
This is the second or third box I’ve purchased. I also love their puer tea. Gourmet? Probably not. It is our “comfort food” tea when eating Asian food at home. Great flavor. Every Chinese restaurant should use this as a tea if if they don’t have anything better, because this is really a great standard tea. I thoroughly endorse it and give it as gifts too. It’s just a great tea.

Not as strong or flavorful as other Ti Kuan Yins
Big fan of ti kuan yin, but this just wasn't as strong or flavorful as others I've tried. If you like a very mild kuan yin, you may like this, but I'm used to stronger, bolder ones. My favorite is the TenRen brand. You'll pay a little bit more, but it's definitely worth it.

This should be considered the “Jasmine Green Tea” of Oolong Tea!
I was impressed with this Prince of Peace tea. It’s not to strong and not to sweet but has a smooth, floral apricot-like flavor that goes wells with anything especially pastries! The price is affordable compared to the ones I used to buy in Peet’s Coffee.

OK Tea but not a good Ti Quan Yin
I bought it loose leaf from a retailer. It tastes a lot more like the typical Chinese green tea than Ti Quan Yin. This is a characteristic of tea sourced from the PRC and not Taiwan. It's on the light side, has grassy a sweetness and none of the typical smoky almost chocolate like richness of a Ti Quan Yin from Taiwan. It's decent tea but it's not really a Ti Quan Yin that I like.

Nice smell and taste, really like it.
I bought this tea on another amazon account. I had tried the pu erh and their white tea so I gave this tea a try. The unusual name and story made me curious. This tea has a nice yellowy color and smells so flowery. Kinda like a jasmin or a blossom of a nice tree. The taste is a cross of a green tea and black tea, ( so like oolongs) with a flowery taste in it. The box says it was harvested in the Anxi region and it really taste like the description you can read online about the Tieguanyin/Ti Kuan Yi from Anxi: "With a very flowery and fresh delicate aroma character, the tea liquid is golden yellow". Now, just like the other varieties being sold by Prince of Peace: there are probably better Ti Kuan Yi's out there, but you will pay way more for them. This one, price quality wise is really nice. A nice experience for a decent price. I will buy more of this tea!
