Suddenly my usual routine was just not cutting it and I had tried what felt like EVERYTHING to bring some life back to my hair. I found out about this product from a Cosmopolitan article talking about products for fine, textured hair and I decided to give it a go. I am SO GLAD I did!! This product does exactly what it says it does: gives you light as a feather, soft as a pillow curls. My hair is hydrated and shiny and there is ZERO crunch or greasy residue. The smell is a bit strong when going on, but doesn't linger in an overpowering way; you're just gonna smell super clean. What has worked the best for me is 1. immediately combing my hair with a detangling comb after I get out of the shower 2. re-wetting my hair with a spray bottle so it's dripping wet 2. putting a pea sized amount on my finger tips and then rubbing my hands together before flipping my hair and scrunching throughout the ends; you want your hair to make a squelching sound as you distribute the product 3. standing back upright and scrunching through the outer layers but not putting it too close to the scalp to avoid build up over time 4. then doing another pass with a microfiber towel to remove excess water and lock in the shape of the curls 5. air drying! This product really has been revolutionary for me and I've been recommending it to all of my curly-haired friends.
