Work great if you tweak the suction cups when they arrive
These are excellent lightweight screens that offer good visibility when driving (I've even used mine on the driver's window when I've had a lot of glare from the side without any problems using the mirror or looking back). Although they do reduce the heat from the sun enough to keep a passenger comfortable, they are not designed to keep a parked car cool - you'll need a different product for that. There's a lot of discussion about the suction cups in the reviews - enough so that I almost didn't buy these. I'm glad that I went ahead and bought them because THE SUCTION CUPS ARE JUST FINE: they ARE lightweight - but then only have to hold up a couple of ounces and they do that quite well; they ARE extremely flexible - but this is a GOOD thing as it enables you to get a better seal when you put them on and makes them easier to remove when you take them off.You do, however, have to do as others have suggested and heat them up in hot water to eliminate any creases that may have appeared during shipping and storage before using them for the first time. Here's what I did:Heat a cup of water until it's VERY hot. I just put a coffee cup of hot water in the microwave for a minute and it was fine. The water doesn't have to be boiling but it won't hurt the suction cups if it is.Put the suction cups in the water for a minute or so. Again, it doesn't hurt to leave them longer but you need to make sure that you leave them in long enough for them to get warm all the way through.Take them out and press them firmly onto a flat surface. Make sure that the cups are completely flattened and don't have any creases in them. Leave them like this until they cool completely.Put the suction cups on the screens and they will hold very well. Mine have been up in my car for four days now and are still firmly attached.Caveat: some people have mentioned the suction cups don't hold when it's cold. I live in Texas so I don't have much opportunity to test that but I believe it's likely to be true: if the suction cups are cold and stiff, they won't flex enough to seal completely. My guess is that if you held them in front of a heater vent for a minute or two or even just held them in your hands long enough to warm them up, they'd hold. Or at least they'd hold as long as the window isn't really cold. At any rate, once the car interior warms up, they should be fine.

I'd get them again.
I bought these for my back windows before my cross country trip with my pup. I didn't want the sun in his face the entire trip and figured these would help, and they did. They obviously don't cover the entire window, so some direct sun still hit him in the face while he was trying to sleep, but it wasn't bad. My biggest problem was that I kept forgetting they were on the windows, so every time I rolled the back window down for him to get some fresh air, I knocked the screen off the windows. The suction cups were a little warped when I received the item in the mail, but I soaked them in HOT water for about one minute, then stuck them to a flat surface (glass table) until they cooled off, and they were perfect. They have been stuck to my back windows for 4 months, and haven't fallen off once. If you're trying to block the hot Arizona sun from coming in your car, you shouldn't spend the money on these. You should probably pay to have your windows tinted. But for normal parts of the country that get average sunlight, these should be perfect for your needs.

Works for a month, then suction cups fall off. Starlight charges $6.49 for replacements....
I'm very disappointed in this product. Like other reviewers have mentioned the suction cups start to curl at the edges over time causing them to fall off and become lost. I have only owned the product for 6 weeks and I am down to just 3 suction cups. You need 4 to hang both shades (2 for each), so one of the shades is now useless. Most of the suction cups have just fallen off and disappeared, including the BONUS CUPS that they provide. The fact that they provide bonus cups leads me to believe that they know this is a problem, but instead of fixing the problem they just threw a few extras in the package. If you lose those (and believe me - you WILL lose those as they just pop off on their own) they will sell you a new package for $6.49. I cannot recommend this product unless you are willing to spend $6.49 every few months to replace their sub-par suction cups. Aside from this flaw the shades seem to do a good job of covering and shading the rear windows of our Chevy Equinox.I have reached out to Starlight & Sunny directly because I was 11 days out of Amazon's return policy, and they did get right back to me within a couple of hours and offered to send me 4 replacement cups. They also left instructions on how you were supposed to soak the suction cups in hot water before installing to "regain their shape"? Apparently this wasn't clear with the packaging.Photos show the attached suction cups with the edges curling in the hot weather. Eventually they just pop off on their own, fall off, and land in the street never to be seen again.

Buying this product is buying your way onto a spam list.
"Starlight and Sunny" will add you to their spam mailing list and also encourage you to purchase other products that you have no interest in. Before receiving any product, I have received multiple emails from them; and in order to even unsubscribe from their listserv that they add you to WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION, you must type the words - and I can't make this up - "PLEASE UNSUBSCRIBE ME FROM THE HELPFUL EMAILS."Just stay away from these people. I wish I'd never purchased so that they take that as some kind of tacit permission have licence to make free with my personal information. It's likely they've already passed on my email to other entities that will then spam me. Wish I could rate the product, but I'm still waiting for it...I will update accordingly later. In the meantime, after I unsubscribed, I STILL got yet another email from them - which, incredibly says: "thanks for contacting us - we will respond to your email in 48-72 hours!" What do these people need, an internet restraining order to get the message that I want nothing but the product I purchased and nothing else?!
