Pocket Posh Word Roundup: 100 Puzzles

This was the first time I ever purchased (or heard of) Pocket Posh puzzle books. I'm so happy with my purchase that I'm back on Amazon to buy a few more! I noticed that the "Posh" puzzle series have all the puzzle types I enjoy - Word Roundup, Jumble, Brainbusters, etc. I think they're great because they fit right in your pocket or purse and have a hard front and back cover so you don't need to find something to lean on in order to do them. They have a band you can use to keep the book closed or hold the page you're working on... These books are perfect for when you're waiting in a doctor's office, the emergency room, the airport, or give/use as a get well soon gift, etc... anywhere you have to wait, they are perfect to pass the time! I'm going to order a few different books right now! You should buy at least one to try them and you'll see how great they are!

My wife loves these so I try and keep a couple on hand as surprise 'gifts'. Once in a while I will place one in her car the night before with a very short note just because! This particular one she really liked - she told me the puzzles were a little better and more interesting. And for the first time for her, she rated this one a 9.5 to 10.0! This one is VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I usually only go for the Pocket Posh logic puzzle books, but I decided to mix it up a little with this one and it's a nice fun distraction. I expected only simple little puzzles, but there are some categories that make me have to think (find 5 OPEC countries). Great addition to my Pocket Posh puzzle rotation.

We got this as a gift for a puzzle lover -- very cute size with a beautiful design. The puzzles are a like a cross between crosswords and word searches: be sure to check out the inside views of this book to see what I mean. The puzzles do not seem terribly difficult at all, but a pleasant pastime with tea or during your commute. (Four stars for the ease of the puzzles and the price, which is a little steep unless you get this for a 4-for-3 Amazon promotion.)

My daughter saw this book at a bookfair at her school, but somehow we missed the deadline. I decided to find it on Amazon, and it is the perfect educational tool, it has fun puzzles that also challenge your knowledge of different educational factors.

These books are tons of fun. I got one for Christmas and my friend has gone through about 12 of them. They are fast, easy, and small so you can tote them anywhere. People who like word games as we do will enjoy them tremendously

Tough enough to make you think, but not as difficult as NYT Crossword. Perfect for winding down before sleep. Answer key in the back for when that last word is just on the tip of your brain. :)

I waited quite some time for this to come and was so excited to sit down and do some word puzzles... opened the book... already used. Extremely disappointed.

Pocket refers to size - fits in a big pocket, a back pack, a purse. Good size and weight for those of us who have arthritic hands. Posh refers to the excellent paper quality and interesting covers. Puzzle level is just what I like - themed puzzles challenging enough to hold my interest, but not frustratingly difficult.
