I absolutely love these books and have been a fan from day 1. I own all the "print" books,which is how I started. the cast of characters has always been quite colorful and now they even get lei'd!! opps I guess Marco has finally gotten to me. I will forever love Gemma for this wonderful series and SHOES. Maddie and Ramirez do it again,this time in Hawaii. What fun but can poor Dana please,finally,tie the knot?Here is to many more in this funny and fun series,and did I mention SHOES?

This is the 9th book in the series and I have read them all. I love the characters. The group makes me laugh out loud with their ridiculous antics. The descriptions are so vivid that I can imagine the clothes the setting and the characters.

Maddie and her gang are back with more fashion at a beauty pageant. They are in beautiful Hawaii on a girls only trip. What could be better? Maybe a pageant without a murder. I bet you can guess who found the poor dead girl? Yes none other than Maddie. If only she can keep her hulk of a husband from finding out. Another fun filled mystery in the most peace place in the world.. I enjoy getting a behind the scenes of pageant and their secrets.

Gemma Halliday did not disappoint with this addition to her High Heels Mystery series. It was well written and the story was very catchy and hard to put down. I purchased the kindle edition and it was downloaded to my kindle fire in less than a minute.

Maddie is back and in trouble again. Love this book and series as each book gets better and better. Couldn't put it down. Supporting characters along with Maddie are charming and loveable and the mischief they get into will make you laugh out loud at times. Always a good mystery that is hard to figure out until the very end. Gemma hurry up and write book #10!

I have really enjoyed the High Heels series, and this book was no different. They are funny and entertaining, with some suspense thrown in. I feel like I've really gotten to know the characters throughout the series. If you are new to this series, I would strongly suggest starting with book one and working your way through the series. You'll enjoy it more that way. I actually reread the series prior to starting #9, and I enjoyed it even more the second time :)

Just finished reading Gemma's latest book. Absolutely fabulous Gemma. She's done it again!! Suspense, action, murder, witnesses, suspects and a whole lot of fun and comedy too. Last but not least Gemma has me guessing all the way to the end. Just like the heroine in this novel even I couldn't have guessed the murderer. The fun and comedy just keeps going what with mum and her friend turning up, the laughter just hit the high note on the laughter scale. Then having the big guy himself turn up, it was getting hotter. This would make a fabulous girly movie. Thanks Gemma, enjoyed it loads. Looks like I'm going to be reading all the books again!! Can't wait for that next book, hope your writing it very soon.

Wonderfully written novel about Maddie Springer, fashion designer, and her quest to solve the murder of a beauty queen. Mystery, romance and comic in parts. I am pleased with my purchase and would buy again.

yet another brilliant read from gemma, this was such a funny story as it kinda went back to her first books no husband no babys (not that im against that) but mad's was her funny self, and I did not see the end twist at all the murder was not who I thought it was, waiting for book 10 now xxx

Yet another brilliant installment from Ms Halliday. Excellent setting (Whats not to like about Hawaii??). Great to catch up with Maddie, Marco, Dana and Co. Loved the storyline ... I was busy suspecting EVERYONE - fantastic read.

Another great book by the author would recommend it to anyone I loved it as all of her books couldn't put it down read it all so quick great story in all her books

Love Gemma Halliday's light-hearted and amusing murder rom-coms. She stumbles across more dead bodies than Barnaby in Midsomer Murders but they're not supposed to be 'real life'. Sheer escapism.

Love this series of books feel good funny and twists and turns let's hope there's not a long wait for the next one

Je lis Gemma Halliday depuis que j'ai acheté ma liseuse kindle en juillet 2014. J'ai tout lu (amazon vous le confirmera) et à chaque fois c'est un vrai bonheur.L'auteur est drôle, ne se prend pas au sérieux. C'est girly et très rigolo. Les personnages sont truculents, les situations à mourir de rire. Ce n'est jamais vulgaire et en prime, j'améliore mon anglais et ma connaissance des expressions anglo-américaines. Se lit au bord d'une piscine, un soir de grand froid ou de grosse déprime. Ce dernier opus ne fait pas exception à la règle. A consommer sans modération .
