what is the difference between kleenex "expressions" hand towels and kleenex hand towels?

The difference is the pattern printed on the box. Expressions has a fancier pattern than regular Kleenex Hand Towels. I have had both and the product (the hand towel in the decorative box) is the same.

Are these towels the same as item #11268CT that comes in a rectangular box of 70 towels?

I do believe so. They are a great item. They are sturdy and ez to use. You can also slide the box on a wall towel rod. Shows how on the package but I usually leave on the counter near the sink. I have been using them in all bathrooms, especially guest areas, since the pandemic.

Has anyone else run into this issue? bought the 6 pack, one of the boxes was empty. unopened, not a single towel inside. appears they have qc issue.

I purchased a case of 6 in March and just took out the 4th box and found it unopened but totally empty. Box code is NT 0 001 09:10. A real rip off!

has anyone found a decorative cover to negate the cardboard look?

We actually discovered a black countertop hand towel holder (by a brand name Kitchen Noble) that fits the Kleenex Expressions hand towels very well. Kleenex folded towel size is 8.5” L x 3.25” W, the holder's internal size is 9.5” L x 3.7” W. They look very good together. We like the Kleenex hand towels better than Scott's we used to buy as they are softer. But we often received our Kleenex hand towels in damaged boxes. We now put the towels in the holder. They look more decent than they are in a cardboard box. We don't have to worry about the smashed boxes anymore.
