S.W. Basics Day Serum, Hydrate + Protect All Day Long, Organic and Cruelty Free, 1.0 oz

This serum greatly improved my sunburned face in just a few hours. I was impressed. Although I use a sunscreen and hat when I am out of doors, I am at this time also on a retinol regime, and so my skin is super sensitive. I came home from a late afternoon walk and my face looked like a tomato. The serum stinks because of the jasmine essence, and I agree with others that it is greatly unpleasant. But, I much appreciated the way it soothed my skin. Will I buy it again? Cannot say. But it worked for me.

Great mix of ingredients and it moisturizes the skin perfectly.

This is my first serum of any kind, and in my experience it's great. I have pretty sensitive skin, and this serum doesn't break me out/cause burning irritation or rashes/etc, after two weeks of daily use. It keeps my dry patches at bay all day and that's what I was looking for. I don't mind having slightly oiled up skin; it's much better than enduring embarrassing dry, flaky skin.I bought this from my local Target after having trouble with several moisturizers. My old favorite night-moisturizer has been reformulated&repackaged and no longer hydrates my skin like it use to. I've tried a few high-end moisturizers and none have been a perfect match for my skin. Some cause burning or they don't hydrate enough. I bought this serum on a whim, and i'm really glad I gave it a chance. It's now incorporated into my morning and night routine. With a cleanser, moisturizer and this serum: my skin now feels normal rather than combination. I don't experience an oily t-zone or dry areas. I actually don't even feel a need to wear a full-coverage foundation anymore; since using the serum I switched to a tinted moisturizer and my skin looks great.The only con in my opinion is the smell. It's not 'pretty'. But I do not mind it since the ingredients as-is work great with my skin. I hope they keep this product around.

I started using this when I realized my retinol was drying out my skin. Initially, it feels like a very heavy and thick oil. Within ten minutes, it feels much lighter on the skin and by the morning I wake up with baby soft skin. It’s never caused me to break out or inflamed my sensitive skin.

Works well on acne

I don't need a moisturizer if I use this product. My skin has never been more clear and I actually love the smell.
