The cable thickness allows air leakage when used in a standard household freezer with mag gasket. A thinner ( or flatter ) cable would reduce the issue. Still experimenting to find a cure for the air leak.

I added this to my WS1, put the WS1 in a watertight Pelican case, mounted as sensor externally, let it float on my pool and I have a wifi remote water temperature sensor! Well under 100$ total!

I deployed a test WS1 unit with this attachment and am VERY pleased!!! It is a must add-on accessory if the function is needed.

No problems installing and using the sensor.

We use this to monitor the temperature of our standup freezer since we had 2 of them blow the compressor after the door was left open. Keeps accurate temperature.

Can’t use this when you use mains power. Useless and expensive waste!

Easy to setup and use and remarkable accurate as we have tested against other commercial devices.

I use this product to check the temperature of my spa during Canadian winters.It sits outside with -30 weather and it sends me updates every 5 minutes and alarms if need be.This is a great product and peace of mind.The battery last very long (1 full winter for one set of 2 AA batteries)I also bought the extension with probe.I have used the product for 2 winters and no complaints on my end.I will buy again if I have another need for an outside thermometer.
