Fantastic, helpful book
If you are contemplating buying this book you should buy it ASAP! This book gave me the confidence to start potty training my 2.7yr old and we have had great success! The book is really easy to read, I'd finished it by day 2. It sets out what you have to do on each day of the process which I really needed someone to spell it out to me and I followed it to the T. My son has been dry in the day now for 6 weeks. We have had no wee accidents after day 3 and a couple of poo accidents in the first few weeks but the book explains exactly what to do when this happens. So pleased I waited until my son was ready and found this book!

Easy to follow, great book.
I found this book really helpful, I didn't follow it word for word but used the reward scheme (stickers and stars) when training my son and I must say it has been a lot easier than I expected! I had a bit of trouble with number 2s at first but when I put into practice what this book suggested he did one straight away and hasn't looked back! Also you don't need to buy all of the stickers charts, carry potty etc that you think you need to follow the book. I made my own chart and found some toy story stickers, which my son is crazy about at the minute, and used the book as a guideline. I would definitely recommend this book as before reading it I didn't have a clue what I was doing and it gave me the confidence to go for it and I'm so glad I did.

Defo worth a read for your little ones sake
Sometimes, as adults, we need someone to point out that all we need to carry out tasks is common sense. This book is telling you to use your common sense & don’t give up. I don’t see why people have a problem rewarding their children when they achieve milestones such as potty training so those who slate the author for having a reward system are probably the kind of parents who tell their kids the ice cream only plays the music becAuse it’s run out of ice cream. It’s an inexpensive way of remembering to keep your calm & soldier on. We’re on day 3 of full potty training, we’ve had 2 accidents & i have the full support of nursery because I have been clear with them in how I’d like my son potty trained. I’m calmer than I was in trying a few weeks ago &im confident that my little boy is gaining confidence in himself with every wee on the potty. I’d recommend it if you are a little worried about potty training. I bought a ton on undies, some cheap joggers, made a chart. Its helped me keep control of every hurdle.

Fantastic book for all things potty training
Amanda advised I read this book before actually started to potty train my little one. I picked it up & didn’t want to put it down! This book is an essential read for anyone with toddlers. It’s so personal & gives a very experianced look into all things potty training. Having read the book I feel assured by the fantastic advice & know the signs to look our for, for when my toddler is fully ready to potty train. Amanda also recommends some great resources available too from Amanda’s Potty Training Academy. I’m so excited for my little one to get started & choose her own ‘carry potty’ & collect stickers & rewards. Cant thank Amanda enough

Amazing results - buy it!
What an amazing book! I bought this whilst looking for a book to re-train my second boy who had gone back to square one with his potty training. He had been completely dry but poo’s were a problem and he’d starting having small wee accidents. I was at my wits end as he had taken to it so well and I knew he was ready. I decorated a box with some octonauts stickers and used some plastic tokens, 1 for a wee, 2 if he went for a wee and told me he needed to go by himself and 3 for a poo. If he got 10 tokens a day he got a small choc button, which is all it took! I amended the advice to suit my son. He took the box to nursery which helped to reinforce what he was aiming for. It took a lot longer for the poos - but all in all about 7 weeks to be fully toilet trained. I’m so pleased with the results! What a brilliant book and I wish it was around when I trained my first son. Thank you Amanda!! X

A very useful book for potty training
I had it easy with my older daughter, who required zero day of potty training, so I was feeling quite stressed out when the little one, who, unlike her sister, did not seem to just instantly get the idea. I then desperately tried to find a book that might help, and decided to buy this one based on the good reviews, hoping it would really work some magic, and it did. The book is well written and easy to read. I did not follow everything to the letter (I do not have a carry potty when going out); what I got out of the book was the reward system, which my daughter responded to really well. The first days were quite painful and frustrating with me constantly trying to figure out when she was about to go and failing most of the time. However we pressed on and on day seven miraculously she herself requested to go to the toilet throughout the day without being prompted and had even graduated onto the big toilet on the same day. Since then she has been accident free (it’s been two weeks now since we started), so I consider it mission accomplished and thank god it will not be a whole summer of potty training as I had dreaded. I would highly recommend giving this book a try.

Potty training and additional needs? It can be done! I promise!
I bought this book in February to try and give me hope that potty training my 3 year old son with additional needs was indeed possible. With limited speech, lack of understanding and behaviour issues especially when a demand has been placed its probably not surprising to hear that our potty training journey has been a long one. This book however, has been our saviour. As well as Amanda’s amazing tips on instagram! For us, a basket of toys next to the toilet was the key and has been the thing that stuck for my little one. I don’t think I’ve ever cried as much in a bathroom than the day my son just ‘got it’, he’s now almost 4 and in full time school and is clean and dry every day, something that before the summer holidays neither me or his teachers thought was going to be possible! Thank you Amanda!!! Your a genius ❤️

Best toilet training book
Didn’t read much as I went with my instincts and my daughter almost trained herself. Was super easy to train her. This book was a good source of information from what I skim read. I was recommended this book.

The only Potty training book you need
This is a great book it really helps with a child friendly and child lead way of potty training, It took us a while to find a method that works for us but this was really it. My daughter responded so well to the reward system and every time she sat on the potty she asked if she could have another sticker for her chart. I loved this book and Amanda Jenners method and explanations thank you so much

Freundliche Bestechung
