1928 Jewelry Floral Crystal Magnifying Glass Necklace For Women 30" - Magnification Power: 2X

I wore this for 3 very long days at an antique show. I was helping a friend with her booth. With the "Y" design I did not have to worry about the glass or chain sliding around. This was great because the chain did not get caught in my long hair even when I wore it down instead of in a pony tail. I cannot tell you how many times people would say, "Let me use your glass!" Over my head it would go and did not get tangled even once.The glass itself is good quality. There is little to no distortion and there were no complaints from anyone all weekend long. I even found some marks on some of my friend's jewelry she did not know was there.I find this item pretty. I received several compliments, which was nice, but even if it were not so pretty it would still be just as functional! One more thing about this well built piece, it is made in the U.S.A.!

I just received my copper tone magnifying glass necklace in the mail and I must admit it is nicer than I expected. It has a nice substantial feel and quality to it with just enough sparkle. It will come in handy when I do not have my reading glasses at the ready to read the fine print on labels, etc. I hope this necklace stays as nice as it looks today for a long time to come. I'm thinking it will receive compliments when I wear it out as well as curiosity as I have never seen anything like this on anyone else before. I got this at a special price and would consider purchasing a couple more as gifts if I had the opportunity to at the same price. Really a lovely piece.

I really like this necklace, but it's not exactly like its picture. For one thing, as another reviewer commented, the stones that appear garnet colored are actually purple. Also, although it isn't cheap looking (it looks pretty sturdy), it is more costumey than I thought. That being said, I enjoy wearing it, and the magnification is enough to be useful. I work with children, and it is very popular with them. They love holding it and looking through it.

I went back and forth on ordering this necklace and am now very happy that I decided to get it- I wore it the day after I got it! The necklace itself looks like it was made very well- and it is heavy but not overly so. One of my co-workers even thought it was a heirloom- it looks so nice and intricate. To be honest, the copper is a little shiny for my liking but I am sure that over time it will dull a bit and be a perfect piece of jewelry that will last me a very long time.I did not buy it for the functionality of the magnifying glass- however my husband discovered that the magnifying glass works fairly well and now thinks it is a play-thing (lol)!!

I gave this gift to an elderly relative so a magnifying glass would always be handy for them when they go out to eat. It is pretty enough to wear as jewelry and serves a purpose. It has a 30" chain so easily slips over the head and the extra length allows you to hold it out to look at menus or other items without choking yourself. It's very attractive in the rose color with rhinestones that I bought.

Despite reading some negative reviews saying it looked cheap, I had high hopes for this and ordered it anyway. I need a magnifying glass pendant to read labels and love 1920s jewelry. However, this does look very chintzy in person. The silver is not "matte" as described. It is overly shiny & looks like plastic, even though it's not. Maybe the other metal choices look nicer? I do appreciate that the magnifying glass is functional and well-sized, and that the chain length is appropriate. Also, that the design has a "handle" so you don't have to touch the glass. However, one side of the pendant is polished & presentable, while the other isn't - and the way it hangs, you are equally likely to present either side. I will probably return it since it should have been priced at about $10 for the quality. UPDATE: I kept it and have been using it daily for a month. I still think it is overpriced, but it has grown on me.

I can’t put on a mask without it fogging up my glasses, reading and sunglasses. Thus I wear this necklace as a way to be able see! I have purchased this in silver also. They are very pretty, and functional.

Beautiful size, color, length... and the magnifying glass is true; which is fun to have as a healthcare provider when I want to wear nice jewelry but also have tools at my disposal (I can use it to magnify lesions on the skin to get a better appearance! lol!) <-- really I wanted it more for its beauty, not looking at skin! haha

Very nice, so hard to find one out looking in stores and I enjoy 1928 items and thought this would be a good one, I was right. I get compliments and find it very useful for looking at small items with small print. Very nice chain and adornments.

Absolutely gorgeous !!!!! I have only worn this once and got many compliments !!! I am physically disabled, so I don't get out much! I loved the heart shaped magnifying glass pendant that Miss Marple wears, and set about to find something similar. The company sells many Art Deco style types of jewelry, I will definitely be back to treat myself to other things in the range !!!!

The magnifying glass is quite small, however, it is useful for reading the tiny print of medicine bottles etc. I am happy with my purchase.

Although the necklace is lovely and appears well made, I was VERY disappointed that the paper tag attached to it clearly stated CHINA. I purchased it because it was supposed to be made in the USA. NOT pleased with the seller.Will keep it because it is really nice.
