A: Definitely buy the pillow bigger than the cover. So a 20 x 20 would be very well for an 18 x 18 if you want your pillow to stay poofy.  Mine works very well doing that way.

A: We have only had ours for a couple of weeks but they’re very well-made and very firm so my guess is they will not go flat
