They look so and so but probably need a double sided tape. I hope the tape will not pull out the hardwood seal when removed.

Bought to cover a single wood step at the bottom of the stairs on which our new dog was slipping. I have other experience with area rugs and wood floors, so I also purchased some double-sided carpet tape. Glad I did.These come folded over but lay out and flatted quickly. The backing is good, but not sticky enough so I added a pair of strips of tape on the long edges and pressed the carpet down. It holds. The combination of the tape and the backing on these is a very strong one I believe will last for a couple years at least. I even had enough left over to replace a small area rug at the bottom of the stairs. Same thing with the tape.In the "Thickness" category I give these a 5 based on their thinness, not their plush nap. These are low enough that I can allow a robotic vacuum to run in the area and it just eases up on top and does its vacuuming magic with no pause or troubles.The only thing I might ward about is the picture on the Amazon page of these on wood stairs, is misleading. Those must be narrow stairs. Mine still have a good 9-inches on either side of bare wood, but they look proportionally good mounted right in the middle.

I bought the stair treads and a 7’ runner but as you can see the coordinate but do not match. I’m keeping them because they weren’t that expensive and do look alright together.

I measured several times to be sure they would work. They really didn't adhere to the steps at all, so we got some double sided tape. The dog dashes in and out too heavily for them to stay in place. We like them a lot and having a couple extra step rugs is good in case they get really soiled.

The stair treads are just the right size and look wonderful. Exactly what we had pictured. You will need double sided carpet tape to hold them in place on stairs but that was easy enough to complete. The corners were flipped up a bit when we received them but we just sat a heavy object on top of them for a day and the corners relaxed. We will probably purchase another set just to have on hand as replacements if needed.

Yes, I gave these 5 stars for "adhesion" even tho they do slip a bit. Why? Because they say up front that tape required to not move, so they work great "as advertised" and really don't move too much. They give a classy look to the stairs too. We are fostering a dog that came from house with no stairs, so she was confused by them. These make a HUGE difference on her being able to navigate the wooden stairs. Yes, on occasion I need to straighten them out, but I don't need to apply tape to my finished wooden stairs. WIN WIN!

I love the design of these. They really make my stairs look nice as well as being useful to stop people and pets from slipping . I didn’t use any carpet tape as the treads stay in place without them. I would definitely recommend these stair treads.

We bought these runners for our pupster because she wouldn't come back up the stairs once she went down. But to my surprise they are actually a lovely addition to the decor. Beautiful colors pop in what was a boring staircase to the front door. Great bang for your buck.

Easy to place on the stairs and they don't move. Love that we don't have use any adhesives on our wood steps. Our puppy can now go up and down the stairs easily

Price was good. They are a little thin but are just fine for my home. Wish there was some adhesive on backing.
