awesome for metal polishing especially diamond plate
work great for metal polishing and heavy cutting they also wash out and can be reused much easier and more times than foam, i prefer 5" over 6" it doesn't get as hot and is way easier to clean

Great when used with the Porter Cable 7424XP variable speed Orbital Polisher helps to eliminate the risk of swirl marks from other machine polishers. These microfiber pads are exceptionally soft for any type of vehicles.

Not a fan
At first use they work great for a couple of parts, hard to clean and the microfibers get too gooey to deliver any good results. My personal experience only, and not just Mcguire product does that, all microfiber from other companies I've used in the past did the same thing.
