You won't find a better deal on a powered callus remover
I know Guifee is serious about customer service as they have emailed me several times about the medicore review and I give the CUSTOMER SERVICE 5 STARS.GUIFFEE wasn't as strong as I expected from a corded model. The roller is smaller then other brands I've used, so it could take longer to get smooth skin if you have really thick skin to get rid off. Overall this machine will get the job done but it has one flaw that I can't live with. With any pressure my roller would pop half way out of the device. I turned it off fixed the roller and started back on my heels only to have the roller pop out several more times.Im finding it hard to believe everyone posting reviews got the same item as me. I purchased EMJOI rollers to use with this device, the Emjoi rollers are long and skinny and the pink Guiffee use short fat rollers with a hunk of plastic on top.If you order the pink color Guiffee the emoji rollers won't work, it's impossible with the device I received.

Faster than an emery board but motor is a bit weak
The media could not be loaded. This was my first time using a motorized callus remover, so I wasn't sure what to expect. In the past, if a callus got too bothersome, I'd try to soften it with a soak in warm water and peel it off with my fingers, or use an abrasive surface like an emery board or pumice stick. Usually, none of these methods worked very well so I just lived with my calluses. As far as construction and build-quality goes, the device on par with men's electric shavers and feels sturdy in the hand. The "red" is really more of a dark pink, but looks as pictured. Operating it is very easy, with clear instructions on use, care, battery insertion, and head change (though some minor spelling and grammar mistakes do appear). The product works by friction: a rotating head sands away dead skin. The heads look like they are encrusted with sugar crystals, but they aren't as rough feeling as you might imagine. I have a rough callus on the side of my big toe and let it have it with the Guiffee. The instructions say not to contact the skin for more than 2-3 seconds, but the buffing motion didn't bother me. It's very easy to get accustomed to and I kept the roller on the same spot for way more than 3 seconds without any discomfort. (Do not use it on anywhere else but your feet and heels though, as your skin is thinner elsewhere). It's hard to see in the video, but with my naked eyes, I could see the dead skin cells coming off in a tiny cloudy wisp where the roller contacted my skin, like smoke. It's quite fascinating and disgusting at the same time. On my heel, I have dead callused skin, but it's not hard. For areas like this, the Guiffee is only moderately effective. It works best on dried out hardened skin, and within several minutes, I felt significant improvement on my big toe. I could also see a fine dusting of dead skin collecting on the underside of the roller itself. Satisfying, but again, kind of gross. One major complaint is the lack of a speed control. The motor also feels a bit weak. When used on larger surfaces that contact the entire width of the roller, the motor isn't powerful enough to keep the head spinning. You will have to angle it and maintain a constant hover, not apply direct pressure.Cleaning is easy. The product is water-resistant and the head can be rinsed, but not waterproof. When running the head under the tap, water collects in the grooves on the head assembly, so I recommend taking the head off and washing it separately.I like it. It removed my toe callus, and is good for heel care. As you can see in the video, the texture of my big toe was significantly improved. You can follow up with foot cream to keep your skin nice and soft after treating with the Guiffee. My girlfriend does martial arts, which requires her to be in bare feet, so she's next on the list of test subjects. I'll update after she's had a chance to try it. It comes with 4 extra rollers, though I think a pouch to keep them in would've been a good inclusion. Luckily, I have a clear vinyl zippered pouch to put the extra parts in.Manufacturer provided test unit for impartial review.
