RockTape Highly Water-Resistant Kinesiology Tape

NO SHAME - when I got married two years ago, I used this tape (at the recommendation of another bride), for my ultra-low-back wedding gown, and it worked SUPER WELL for giving me a smooth back. (5'3, 165, so it wasn't the most difficult to remedy, but it still made me look AND FEEL 10x more confident).So basically, you cut a strip (6-8 inches, I would say). You tape it along the offending fold as needed to accommodate the outfit and you pull it forward as tight as possible toward your stomach and lay it there. I did two on each side AND THEN a few pieces over my stomach to ensure it held. THEN, I put backless shapewear on over it.I'm sure it's great for sports too probably...

2 negatives I have about this vs. KT brand tape is that the adhesive from this sticks on my skin so much that its actually painful to wash off sometimes. Also, it isn't very forgiving if you make mistakes. I frequently end up getting parts of the back stuck together while in the process of applying it to hard to reach places. KT tape can be pulled back apart pretty easy, Rocktape is pretty hard and the tape looks damaged where I have pulled it apart.Still good tape overall though because I can cut splits into the 4 inch tape and use it over the mid-back with a strip branching off toward each shoulder blade and that feels really good on long hikes with a moderate sized backpack. I thought it would be more useful on the lower legs, but I almost always end up cutting it into 2 inch strips to get the right placement. Stays on like crazy, which is great, but that is probably why it is so irritating to my skin taking it off, which isn't great.

I've ordered this product at least a dozen times. It works well. The actual H2O version stands up to repeated showerings. I generally shower morning and night and I have had it last up to three days as long as you actually dry it immediately after a shower (press with a towel, hit with hairdryer, etc.). When it comes off, it does so with a minimum of residue. I highly recommend it.That said, three of those dozen times, I have received the wrong product. All three times I have received a non-H2O version of the product. It is easy to understand how this happens. The boxes appear to be exactly the same with just small text changes.The first time I received the wrong product, it didn't matter much because I'd been wanting to try it out, anyway. I found the regular Rock Tape to be much 'tackier' then the H2O. It leaves a lot more residue and doesn't stand up to water for more than a couple of showers. Sometimes not even one.The second time, I returned for the correct product.My current roll is also a bad shipment, but as I was moving the next day, I kept it instead of returning it. It is the Rock Tape Black w/ Logo. Thus far, it has been the worst for my purposes. The logo is screen printed using a kind of rubberized white ink. Think of white ink on black T-shirts and you will get the idea. It gives it completely different texture and stretch (not a deal-breaker, but different), and the ink literally retains the moisture under it making it harder to dry.My advice, if ordering from Amazon, is this: do not order it when you need it. Order it early so you have enough time to get the right product re-shipped once they ship you the wrong one.Otherwise, it is a good product and works as advertised.

A physical therapist introduced me to rocktape and it works great! The only problem with this product is that amazon takes the normal 2" size and stickers over the label claiming it is 4" size and charges you the much higher price for the 4" size. This does not magically turn it from 2" to 4". If you want 4" tape you should buy it from someone other than amazon.

Adhesion was mediocre. Make sure you have 0 stretch on ends and you round the ends. On one occasion I know I had stretch on the end and I had no adhesion whatsoever. Mostly the tape began to roll after a few minutes to an hour in some cases and after a day or two in other cases. I was really careful with my application as I continued to use this tape but even so, the tape rolled on the ends and edges. I did like the width and compared to other brands the price was good. I would only buy again if I was in a pinch.

I love Rocktape, it has made a HUGE difference on my lower back. However, the 4 stars are because I can only wear it for about 2 days then it starts to itch. I also don't like how it feels after a shower. When I do pull it off I have a bit of a rash for a few days. At this point, its worth it for a few days. Just my experience.

My daughter is a type one diabetic and uses this daily to give her dexcom transmitter a longer life. No skin irritation what so ever! Wouldn't ever go without it. She's her form reinserting after her brother gives it a tug.

Use it! stretch the muscle not the tape. Max wrinkles for max circulation and max breaking up of scar tissue. This stuff rocks!

My physio uses this 10cm tape on my back so when she showed me how to apply it I decided to buy some myself. It is quite difficult to find the wider tape so I was pleased to find it on Amazon. It is easy to apply (there are numerous videos depending on your injury/condition on you tube) and stays on for a week if you can keep it dry. After 5 or 6 days it starts to fray around the edges but stays in place. All in all I have had no problems with the tape. Also I believe the different colours/styles are purely cosmetic and offer not difference in support.

The product is expensive, difficult to apply to your body but it is excellent quality and provides great support for injuries.

My son uses this for a long term back problem. It was recommended by his physiotherapist. Stays is position and is helping with his back.

Fantastic product, really helps my back injury. Well recommended.

brilliant, does what it's supposed to

Ich hab das Tape zum fixieren des Dexcom g5 Sensors gekauft. Damit er besser hält, auch bei Sport und beim schwimmen eignet sich das Tape hervorragend. Durch die größe kann der Sensor mit einem Streifen komplett überklebt werden. Vorher ein Fenster reinschneiden und drüber kleben.Das Tape lässt sich gut ablösen. Es bleiben nur wenig bis keine Rückstände an der Haut kleben.Ich kaufe es garantiert wieder.

Miglior cerotto in assoluto, essendo H2O (anche se sulla confezione non era scritto) se applicato bene tienie anche piu di una settimana facendo docce tutti i giorni, al limite tende a sfilacciare sui punti dove è stato tagliato ma basta rifilarlo con la forbice ed è come nuovo

Il cerotto in rotolo si presenta di un buon "tessuto" al taglio tende leggermente a sfilacciare ma credo sia normale, come collante tiene bene anche qualche doccia. Ritengo sia un buon prodotto

Sono molto soddisfatto da questo prodotto perché è resistente all'acqua e per le mie esigenze è il prodotto perfetto.Favoloso ve lo consiglio vivamente
