California has TONS of power issues. Who'd thunk it? So how do you cook with no power? There's propane, but it runs out. The better option is to get a couple of portable solar panels and a large rechargeable battery pack and run and induction cooker. As long as the sun is shining on your panels, you can cook away to your heart's content. This small induction cooktop is solidly constructed and worked fine with every pot I used on it. Temperature controls are more an adequate for outdoor/emergency fare.

Got this in April. Great product. Worked great! Stopped working yesterday. (29-September). Five months.Still looks brand new. No cracks. Never banged or dropped. Just stopped working.Only worked for five months.So, unless you plan on doing a "Subscribe and Save" to have a new one delivered every four or five months, DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.Ugh! Very disappointed.😠😠😠😠😠

I took it with me for a road trip. Very useful if you want to cook hot food while staying in motels. Heats up very fast, but make sure your cookware is compatible. Easy to clean, too.

Takes too long to heat up.

Seems very sturdy. Well made doesn't feel cheap. Definitely loves fingers prints. But easy to clean. Super excited to cook on It. Haven't cooked on it yet cause my current pans don't work with induction cook top. Good price.

Instructions find not come in box. Cannot make it work with regular pans. Bought the special Pam to use it and still can’t figure out how to keep it from turning off
