Perfect fit for my 96 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0
Worked great on my 1996 Exploder, even though Amazon claimed it did not. The difference between 96-97 models and later ones is that the lights are a different color. Everything works like it should. The back lights do appear brighter on one side (left) but considering the huge price difference in these and the ridiculously expensive Ford part, some compromises are to be expected. And in any case, these are a vast improvement over what they looked like before replacement. All buttons work as they should.

Perfect replacement for OEM Switch!
Worked perfect in my 97 Ford Ranger XLT. Not sure why the date range starts after this model year, but it works perfect and the backlighting matches the dashboard too. Perfect replacement for worn-out OEM switches. Be sure to watch online videos of how to replace it. I reused the original wire harness, so it didn’t require complete disassembly of the steering wheel. Really quite easy to do (took me about 15 minutes total).

Worked on my Mazda B3000
I have a 2003 Mazda B3000 which I use mainly as a work truck or to carry things around that wont normally fit in my sedans. The steering wheel was all eaten up (previous owner had a dog) and I always hated how it looked so I purchased a new steering wheel which unfortunately did not come with these side buttons which I then found on Amazon and decided to purchase them. Cheap aftermarket buttons but work like a charm and no issues!

Make sure the ribbon clears the airbag bolt.
When I was reinstalling it I couldn't see on the far side of the steering wheel but I pinch the ribbon with the airbag bolt and it made the horn go off constantly. Figured it out pretty quick. Went for a test drive and was able to get it to work though it did seem slightly intermittent, not sure if it's because I slightly damage the ribbon cable or the product as sometimes when I push the set button the back lights on all the buttons go out instead of the button working. And so far haven't gotten the resume button to work. However I have to assume that it's the damage that I did to it rather than a defect in the product. The path of the ribbon put it really close to where you put the bolt through to bolt the airbag to the steering wheel on the side of the steering wheel. be very careful when you go to both the airbag in is that the big washer on the airbag bolt doesn't catch the edge of the ribbon cable.

Totally satisfied.
Just got them in the mail today7/20/20. Had them installed in 30 minutes. Took my Ranger out for a drive and everything worked. Now they didn't light up but I'm not sure if these are equipped with lights. It really doesn't matter to me if they do. I'm just happy to get those nasty broken buttons gone.Definitely worth the money.

works flawlessly plug and play
didn’t even need the wiring harness my factory harness was in perfect condition so it was as simple as mounting the pieces in and plugging them in took in whole about 7-8 minutes (also disconnected the negative battery terminal because to loosen the airbag it kept honking my horn lol) great product would purchase again if the need ever came about

Perfect OE part
Perfect fit for my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport. Switches look perfect and feels very nice. In case you're wondering, they do light up green when you turn your foglights/headlights on. Just make sure you have a good steering wheel puller, as mine took a 5-ton jaw puller and all my strength to take off haha
